Bluetooth didn't work for me, i kept losing connection

I had the opportunity to get a Hover-1 Ranger+ Hoverboard and it was a lot of fun. It definitely takes a learning curve to get used to it. I started while holding onto someone and tried to just balance. After a little bit, I was able to move slowly while holding onto someone. I then started to learn how to steer it and control the speed. After about 10 minutes, I was able to maneuver on my own at slow speeds. It took about 30 minutes for me to take it outside and get it up to full speed. These are my initial observations… The hoverboard has a top speed of 9MPH. It seems pretty fast while you are doing it. I’m not sure how safe it is since a small stone can put you on the ground. The board has 2 speakers. Only one of them can play music. The other is limited to making warning sounds fi=or things like hitting top speed. The alarm continuously sounds, while you are at top speed, which can be very irritating if you are trying to maintain a constant speed. The one playing music is a little muddy and distorts pretty bad at full volume. The app for the board has lim9itred functionality. It basically gives you trip summaries and maps of where you have been as well as adjusts the board between various modes. The only thing I see these modes controlling, is the rate at which the board accelerates. Top speed is the same in each mode. The lights change colors in a random pattern keeping the look changing. It’s a nice hoverboard. It can take you from place to place, as long as you wear proper protection. Watch out for rocks and be safe.

The Hover 1 + is a nice scooter with some nice features. It has good build quality and decent weight to it. The battery lasts for quite a while and is speedy for a hover scooter. It has a mobile app that allows you to change the ride style. It also allows you to lock it to keep young kids from riding it when you’re not around. You can also turn it on and off using the app. The scooter has flashing lights, which I was unable to find a way to control or disable using the app. The scooter also makes a high pitched whirring sound. I’m not sure what causes it, but it’s somewhat annoying to me. The scooter allows your phone to connect to it’s built-in Bluetooth speakers. This allows you to listen to music while riding it. The sound quality of the speakers aren’t the best. The speakers on my mobile phone actually sound better. Overall, it’s a good scooter that’s fun to ride.

I have to say I was a bit ambitious in thinking I’d be able to hop right on the Hover 1 and be zipping around my apartment hallways. The truth is it has been about two weeks and I’m still trying to get the hang of moving more than a few feet without falling off. That makes it a little awkward to review this item but I’ll focus on the positives. The unit works as described, with the lighting, Bluetooth speakers, and overall controls being easy enough to use. Instructions are provided and serve as a useful getting started for anyone who has never been on one of these before. This is not a product for your children if you’re not going to be around to make sure they are operating safely during this acclimation period. A helmet is not just recommended - it’s essential, because they WILL fall at least a couple times in the process. I can tell you i banged a shoulder up pretty good in my first day. Bottom line - your kids will love it once they get the hang of it and if you’re an adult you’ll want to protect your body parts accordingly.

My son has been asking for a hoverboard forever, so I decided to break down and get him one now that he’s a bit bigger. I was concerned about potential injuries of course, but the fun he’s had with this has been so worth it. His words: “ I would like to start by saying, the hoverboard works great! I recommend parents to get it for their kids or themselves. It is a bit hard to get the hang of but after a few minutes you will look like you have been hoverboarding your whole life! It is very fun and it beeps when you are off balance which I personally think is a very good safety precaution. I would rate the X1-ranger hoverboard a 10/10.” As a mom I can verify that the beeping when it’s off balance is an excellent safety feature, and this has helped my son improve his own balance tremendously. He started off very shaky but has since gained much more confidence and he can steer himself all around the house now. He hasn’t ventured outside quite yet but he’s definitely working his way there. Overall I highly recommend this hoverboard, especially for those just starting out.

Bright lights does make it stand apart from the other hover boards. Very smooth and quiet ride without using the speaker. The speaker is a plus. Was very easy to connect. Pretty good charge and does self balance as it says. Very fun and easy to use

Fast! Easy to mount & dismount as it uses the pads on the foot area to engage a brake when only one is pressed, so no more flipping onto your backside! The unit exceeded 9mph up to 10.7 per the in-app speedometer, which is quite fast for a hoverboard! It's able to go up the modest incline of our street without much trouble at all. Additionally it's powerful enough for an adult to use at full speed as well as older children (box says 15+). Our unit had a bit of a hiccup after only 1 day of use, however. It simply stopped responding at all to rider, app, even the power button didn't work. We ended up leaving it running so that it would run out of battery & restart itself and we haven't had any problems since. While it was non-functioning, we emailed the company and still haven't heard back to even acknowledge receipt of our warrant inquiry now over 1wk later. So I wouldn't put too much trust in warranty claims on this one. The onboard speaker is usable alongside the hoverboard itself but has only adequate sound as you might expect from something of this size. Additionally, the lights are not controllable from the app and much of the online troubleshooting and manuals direct you to use an app that's not compatible with this model so that can be somewhat confusing

When it comes to scooters we have all seen the funny videos of people falling and losing balance. Well the Ranger Plus looks to take that and make it better. The self balancing scooter comes in with all the bells and whistles! Speed - 9 MPH!! This thing can book it on a nice smooth flat surface. In our testing I found it to be able to zip around the house nicely and outside on concrete just the same, sidewalks provided a fun But slower experience for safety purposes we didn’t push it. The lights at night on the scooter was very bright like very bright. Very hard not to see at night time. The 6.5” wheels were durable and allowed for my self around 210 to ride with ease. It has a max capacity of 264lbs. The other feature is a built in Bluetooth speaker to pump out the tunes. Rather easy to connect to and listen while you ride. Over all this scooter is one of the best I have ever ridden! Would recommend for its build quality and ability to live up to its promises.

This is a very nice hoverboard. It has a very quick response, once you get on it. You definitely have to be ready to go. Rides pretty smooth, easy to navigate once you get balanced and adjusted. Moves very fast. Love the lights and the connection to bluetooth. Very cool, for handsfree listening. Great sound quality. Great idea. I am very pleased with this hoverboard.

I get home and try to listen for the beep to connect bluetooth and speakers dont work! I play the music and its playing and its connected and no sound is coming out. Oh well to return tomorrow hoping they have another
