Could not tell if it is a standalone or an add on. Turned out to be a carriage, but the chassis frame must be bought separately. The pictures and description can go a long way to help Bestbuy and customers avoiding cost and efforts of buying then returning it. The local return items staff were outstanding, proficient and cordial. Best Buy is a well greased machine.

No good on grass or gravel best on hard blacktop or concrete. Slows down though the heavier you are. Seat is narrow to me.

The attachment may be physically somewhat compatible with the hoverboard however they do NOT work well together. The handles never sync properly with the hoverboards foot petal mechanism. Either the left or right is always in a different position and of course the hoverboard just had its mind blown every time this occurs. Not to mention when in full speed on hoverboard you have an extremely loud bell that rings and does not stop making the whole ride unpleasant. I would never ever recommend anyone burden themselves or their children with this nonsense.
