Such a fun movie with great characters! A beautiful movie to watch.

Purchased this for my grandkids because they love the action

I loved the original How to Train Your Dragon and HTTYD 2 has gone above and beyond what I expected. The storyline is compelling, there's dragon action aplenty, and it's, again, well-voiced by the actors. But it's small details that really help set the film apart. Hiccup has grown up a bit since the last movie and looks a little older - still much of the young Hiccup remains, but there's a growing mannishness that's there as well. Just one example of how diligently the animators and artists worked to make an outstanding film.

My only complaint is that I wish it had the original atmos audio.

Good movie for the kids. Especially if you're into the 3d scene.

Between Frozen and Dragon 2, it is tough to pick our family favorite movie. We took our children to see this twice in the theater and have watched it four times for family movie night. No idea how many times the kids have watched it by themselves. Like Frozen, it is a great story that is entertaining for adults and children both. The humor is clean and understandable for most kids over three. The action is great and engages my kids every time, even though they know what is going to happen. I highly recommend this movie.

Big fan on the first movie. Nice how they developed a story for Hiccups mother to become a part. The humor has also grown to a bit more of a mature audience. Not 100% kid friendly with verbal content or "scary" dragons but not completely unfriendly either. Parent's/Guardians understand your kid's/child's mind-sets first. (not your own-but theirs). While this is a great "family friendly" film, I wouldn't say it's a little kid friendly film in general. But Great fun film for family and younger age appropriate audiences!

My sons have the original "How to Train Your Dragon" and had watched it at least a half dozen times. They wanted the sequel "How to Train Your Dragon 2", so I set out to find it at a good price (being the price hound that I am). Several weeks before Thanksgiving, it went on sale for $14.99, both at Best Buy and at Walmart; however, I had a $5 My Best Buy Rewards certificate, so it was a no-brainer. I got the DVD at essentially half of the list price, and, most importantly, my sons love the movie. Thanks, Best Buy!!!

The sequel is better then the first one, more action, funnier
