Great continuation of the first movie.

Welcome to the continued adventures of Hiccup and his crew. He's older now and is showing more maturity but still enjoys the great relationship he has with Toothless. There was a spot that was rather sad - my wife and granddaughter cried, and I even felt a little something in my eye - but all in all the video is one that will get plenty of air time.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 is one of the best animated films of the last decade. A richer story and set of characters make this one better than the original. Impressive voice acting, beautiful animation and color, and a story that challenges children to face fear and adults to discuss the film with their children add up to a really great film.

I truly enjoyed the first movie. But this is definitely better then the first. When I saw it in the theater I went in not wanting to see it because I was not in the mood for this type of film but as soon as I started watching it changed my mood for me. The movie is fantastic and I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoyed the first one.

If you liked How to Train a Dragon you will like this more. It is a great movie, but like most new kids movies there is "loss" in it which I don't understand why. Still it had its moments from funny to sad, and it is good to see your favorite characters again. My 12 and 9 year old daughters loved it and me being 43 I found it enjoyable too.

This movie is great, its funny, quite entertaining and holds your attention throughout the whole movie. The animation is excellent, and the plot is captivating.I usually do not care for sequels, since they are usually disappointing and the story changes too much, but this one basically picked up where the first one left off.I give it 10 thumbs up.

This is the first Apple product I have purchased and I am pleasantly surprised. It is fast, no lag in connecting to my wireless network at home, and I am glad I purchased it. The only thing I wish I could do is increase the font size across all programs, I need glasses and using the computer without my glasses poses a problem sometimes.

As much as I love Dragons, wether their statues, pictures, movies etc... this is one of my favorites. The story line and the animation to this movie is just awesome. I loved everything about it. Way to go Dreamworks for putting out another hit movie that the whole family can enjoy, especially me. I'll enjoy this movie as long as I live.

I saw How To Train Your Dragon 2 in theaters. Was great the first time and had to go out to purchase it on the bluray/DVD release date. Watched it 3 more times since then and still just as good! Toothless is the bomb with just the right amount of attitude and cuteness!!! Everyone should see it! Can't wait for the third part to come out!

I purchased this for my grandchildren but I love the movie too. It has a great storyline of friendship, caring choices and family commitment. Lots of funny moments too. No need to worry about inappropriate words or subject matter that often slips into kid themed cartoons. This movie is a huge hit with our family.

Myself, wife and kids (2 and 10) loved this as much as the first one. It did a good job of picking up the story line from the last movie and forwarding the plot to something different that evolved from previously established plot lines. If you like the first one, you'll love the second. It's amazing how much dragons are like cats!

Very enjoyable storyline and continues seamlessly from the first movie. Interesting revelations about Hiccup's family, new discoveries about his dragon, Toothless, along with watching the other characters mature make this movie a must-see for the entire family!

I'm still having a difficult time deciding if the first or second movie is better, but you should own both movies. The sequel fleshes out the characters a little more, and provides a grounded story that young adults can relate with. The action scenes, particularly those flight sequences, are a thrill ride.

Excellent sequel to the first How to Train Your Dragon movie. It takes 5 years in the future from the original movie, and you get to see how the characters have changed and grown since the original. I don't want to give any of the plot away, so I won't go into the story, but be prepared for some surprises and maybe a few tears.

Absolutely loved this film, and I had not seen the first one when I saw 2. The characters, including a great villain, the story, and stunning visuals combined to make this my favorite animated film of the year. Additionally, the relationship between Hiccup and Toothless is special and at the center of what sets this film apart.

I loved the first How to Train Your Dragon in 3D, so it was natural that I would buy the 2nd movie in 3D as well. The nice thing also is that this version also has the Blu-ray 2D version, regular DVD, and digital download. I have watched this movie from the digital download on my tablet, but not in 3D, of course.

Unlike many animated sequels, Hiccup, the main character actually ages and shows maturity. This film follows a similar arc as the first, brings together well-loved characters and is fairly emotional. There is more violence, unsuitable for very small children but nothing with excessive gore. Definitely a solid follow-up the first film, in fact, it is absolutely possible to watch this one without seeing the first and being able to follow along - though you might be left with questions that the first film will answer. And frankly, the first one is still, just a bit better.

A great animated movie that the whole family can enjoy. If you enjoyed the first movie you will like the sequel as well. Great picture quality as is always the case with Blu-ray. Young kids as well as adults will love this movie. Preordering through bestbuy.com and picking up in store is very convenient and hassle-free.

We really enjoyed the first in the series of How to Train Your Dragon. This sequel adds more information about the characters in the original movie. The biggest revelation is about his mother and how to make Toothless more interesting. It is also sad at one point in the movie. Wish it did not have to happen that way.

This is a great follow up to an outstanding movie. I took my son to see it in theaters and he loved it. It was a no brainer to pick this one up as soon as it came out. The story is powerful and really draws you in. My whole family loves Hiccup and Toothless and this movie kept in stride. I hope there is a third.
