The first movie was stunning, and one of my absolute favorites. I felt that the sequel was better in every way. The story felt a bit more epic, and the visuals were stepped up quite a bit. This movie is truly amazing. The first movie was one of the best animated movies, and the sequel was even better.

I fell in love with Toothless in the first one and when this one came out I about fell right out of my seat at the theater when I saw all the new ones. Toothless totally rocks but his mamas dragon was AWESOME! I really recommend getting both of these movies, even the kids I've watched them with are enthralled

This movie has a great story and wonderful effects. I bought the 3D version and the effects are very good without being too gimmicky (good use of depth and not too much in-your-face effects). The movie is a bit long for younger viewers but the engaging plot will keep them watching. Strongly recommend!

Bought as a gift for grandson and watched together. Once again our hero relies on help from his friends to succeed. I don't want to give too much of the movie away. Some new dragons make an appearance, a few sad moments and new friendships come in this second movie. My grandson loved it and I enjoyed it.

Got this for my 7 year old, but I enjoy watching it as well. There is some violence of course, but what doesn't have that anymore. It is probably a little better if you've seen part 1. I have both films in 3rd and the graphics are awesome on both. Shows kindness toward animals also which is a good thing.

Good follow up to the first movie, not all sequels can say that. It really lends itself to Blu Ray and the picture looks really sharp and crisp. There was some sad parts in the movie and some laugh out loud moments. Overall I enjoyed this one as much as the first. Definitely a keeper in my collection.

I'm usually not one for sequels, but in the case of How To Train Your Dragon 2, I had to admit that the sequel exceeded the original and I loved the original! Hiccup is more mature, but maintains his endearing awkwardness and Toothless is as adorable as ever. Excellent movie, you should totally buy it.

Dreamworks animation just keeps getting better!! Kung Fu Panda 2 was a fantastic sequel and now comes the follow-up to the brilliant How To Train Your Dragon!! This movie is a wonder to behold. No just the story, but every visual detail is absolutely amazing! Can't wait for the 3rd film in this series.

Wow, I never thought a sequel would be as great as its predecessor. This movie is not only a great follow up to the first movie but it had a great story and the action scenes are not your typical kids movie action scenes. I like the first one but this sequel is also original and it had great moments.

The movie is fantastic and should be viewable for all ages. There is a sad scene in the movie so if you have a young child that is very emotional you would want to watch this movie before letting them see it. There is lots of bonus material for kids that love dragons and want to know more about them.

I almost liked this movie more the first, because of the character development, and the drawing story. Each character flows well from the first to the second movie with wonderful growth. The story has drama, action, flair, and certainly grips you. No spoilers though. Enjoy this fantasy necessity.

This is a must have for the movie library. I picked up this movie because it was great in the theatres. The story and quality of the animation will keep your attention focused on screen. This home version in 3D blue ray has all the qualities that I enjoyed with my theater experience. Great product!

If you liked the first How to Train Your Dragon, you'll surely enjoy the second as well. The story doesn't feel forced and is a nice sequel to the first. Its also great to see an animated movie where the characters actually age and mature. It was fun to watch with my kids and again with my spouse.

Another winner!! The music is incredible and the story takes off from the cartoon series (Dragons:Riders of Berk & Dragons: Defenders of Berk). There is a flurry of emotions, as Hiccup reaches a new level of adult-hood. If you haven't seen How To Train Your Dragon 2, then you are missing out!!

I could go on and on about the technical mastery this film exhibits in effects and computer graphic design as well as a great score, but its the powerful story and strong characters that keep me coming back to the world of Berk and their dragons. I recommend this film to kids and adults alike.

How to Train your Dragon 2 is a shining example of what both family movies and animated films are capable of. This is not the same story rehashed over again. From the characters, to the drama, to the action, to the comedy, this film does what any sequel should do by stepping up its predecessor in every way possible, and respects its audience enough not to shy away from its darker and more dramatic content, but still remain viewable and entertaining for all audiences. We are talking about a PG rated Dreamworks film after all.

Most sequels never live up to the expectations of the original release. Only a few ever actually one up the original. Dragons 2 is one of those rare movies that does just that. Quite simply put this movie is Amazing in every way. 3D or Not If your a fan of the 1st movie. This is a must have.

Dreamworks Animation is at the top of their game with "How To Train Your Dragon 2." It has a strong storyline, engaging character development, beautiful visuals and very touching moments. This 2nd film is right up there with its phenomenal predecessor, which is rare. My kids and I loved it!

Purchased movie to enjoy with my grandchildren. It has been a huge hit!! Grandchildren (3 yrs-18 yrs age range) thoroughly enjoy the movie. I enjoy the movie myself. Will be another one that is watched regularly around my house.
