How to Train Your Dragon 2 has gone a step beyond the original. Very action packed with a good theme plot. May be a bit intense for the littlest ones. I recommend age 5 and above. And a parent should watch it with their child the first time to observe their reaction. Enjoy!

I LOVE this movie! I watched it with my grand kids and we enjoyed it immensely. We had seen the original and were a bit skeptical that the sequel would match up but were pleasantly surprised that it did. I recommend this dvd to all youngsters and anyone who's young at heart!

This film is a follow up to a great Dreamworks animated film. The movie itself is fantastic. It has irreverant humor which kids will loves. The film also has heart, a great story and lessons about family, love, as well as the reality of loss.

I'm impressed with this movie, the way hiccup grew into his character was brilliant. I found it very entertaining, my kids and I enjoyed it. Its just as good as the first with alot of improvements and story direction. Its worth picking up and adding it to your collection

I loved the first Dragons movie and this one was pretty great as well. The special effects were nice, and there was humor throughout the movie. Good teamwork principles as well. The price for the blu-ray 3D on black Friday wasn't bad either! I would definitely recommend!

Great action throughout movie, especially at end. Very emotional at times as well, really bringing you in. There were tears the first time we watched, and when we watched with others the 2nd time, there were more tears. Great movie for any and all ages of kids and adults!

I got this for my grandson, he loved the first movie. His parents think "How to Train your Dragon 2" is better than the first version of the series. It is a good movie for children, but adults will find it entertaining as well. Children of all ages will enjoy the movie.

Hiccup has grown up and the story reflects that.

LOVED this movie. They continue to amaze and awe the audience with the most impressive animation in a long time. The story is more grown-up as is Hiccup. It is darker and characters die. It is definitely not for the littler ones but from pre-teen and up. Awesome sequel.

From our youngest child (age 5) to our eldest (age 15), we all truly enjoyed this movie. It had excitement and heartwarming moments, and was a movie I feel that parents can take a few moments of our busy lives to sit and watch this movie with the children. GREAT movie!

We assumed that the sequel would touch on some of the same themes explored in the original, however we were not ready for all the emotions they were able to pack into this movie. Tight animations and great voice acting makes this a great addition to your collection.

Just when I thought Dreamworks couldn't top the original, they went ahead and blew away my expectations with a sequel full of adventure, heart, and charm. Hiccup and Toothless are back to face a new threat that is more terrifying than they ever could have imagined.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 isn't just a great Movie, is a great animated spectacle, or a great example of successful. Is Bigger and even richer than the Fantastic previous hit animation, this sequel is also quite possibly the best action-adventure movie of the year.

Spoiler Alert!! Really loved this movie. It was definitely better than the first one. Another great score by John Powell. There was some darker tones to this movie, but more delivers a message. Might be better suited to older kids who can process some of the events.

I honestly think this movie was better than the first Dragon's movie. Seeing the son grow and develop into his own person was rewarding, as was seeing more of his family's backstory. I just really enjoyed this movie and my kids really did too.

I didn't really discover the Dragons franchise until this was out of theaters, and boy do I regret it. It is easily one of my favorites, with this movie being on top for me. My only complaint is that Hiccup's voice actor feels an odd choice. Otherwise, excellent!

I enjoyed the first movie and I enjoyed the 2nd one. Watched it with my niece and she liked it also. Kept her quiet and interested the whole time I couldn't have asked for a better movie to do that and have some type of relaxation while baby sitting.

Beautifully directed film about loas and gain, reconciliation and past demons, friendships, family, care, sacrifice, triumph, courage, redemption, ferocity and tenacity. Great film to grow up on or for fun and family or even to learn and become appreciative with.

Dreamworks did a great job with How to Train Your Dragon I and with the TV series, but this tops them all! I can't wait for the upcoming TV series and the next 2 movies after watching How To Train Your Dragon 2. You must buy this - you'll watch it over and over.
