so fun and great movie for kids and family .. good storie

The 1st HTTYD was the best 3D movie my family had ever seen in theaters. While nothing quite duplicates that experience, this move was amazingly well done. When you are able to have the same writer, director, composer, and actors join a sequel...there is a rare chance that lightning strikes twice. This sequel is one of those gems where a little mix of the old and new come together to make you laugh, cheer and be thankful there are still great movies out there.

My kid loves this movie and so we do. There was a surprise perk when we purchased this Blu-Ray. This BluRay had so many audio languages track and I was sweetly surprised it had Tamil Audio track (also had Hindi language audio track). This is the first bluray I have ever seen with Indian Languages audio track for an Hollywood film. Kudos to dreamworks for having multi language audio tracks!

I don't know about anyone else, but the dragons are my favorite in these movies. Dragons are awesome, whether they're burninating the countryside like TROGDOR THE BURNINATOR or adorably dorky like Toothless and gang. How can someone NOT like How to Train Your Dragon?

I absolutely love Toothless! The first movie was excellent. I was worried about the second installment but it's really good. It's neat to see the kids grown up. This is a good family movie, however, be careful for the intense moments towards the end. It can be very emotional. Overall, great story line.

Kids animation movies have come a long way recently & this movie is not an exception. The first one was great & this is a great sequel. But I think those who have not seen the first one can still enjoy this film as well. Great movie for the whole family.

This film carries on the story of Hiccup and Toothless from not only the first movie, but also from the very entertaining cable series. They are more grown up, a little wiser, and the plot develops their characters even further. The dragons are more plentiful and more impressive, with lots of action scenes. The special features are satisfying and the transfer is sharp. Parents will enjoy this as much as, or even more so than, their kids

Not just a kids movie. great fantasy epic and i think better than the first. a little more grown up than the first one, with a little more advanced themes. visually incredible and the flying scenes are breathtaking. buy it

Not often does a sequel live up to the original, but this movie nails it without trying to be too different, or too much the same. Kids love it, and 3D is great. If you aren't sure about 3D try this movie. It is awesome.

We got this for my 5 year old granddaughter but the whole family enjoyed the film. We thought it might even have been a better story than the original. It's always good to have a "kid's film" that everyone can enjoy.

If you liked the first How to Train Your Dragon, you'll love this movie. It's a lot of fun, gorgeous, and heart-warming. Though, be warned, it is a bit more violent than you'd expect from an animated movie.

When Hiccup and Toothless discover an ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace.

It does not drag on (pun intentional) in any place and was paced extremely well written and well paced. While the original movie benefited from narrative simplicity and an admirable lack of villains, this one paints the screen with too many characters and frequent diversions from the main story, but nevertheless serves up a bountiful and sugary feast for the 3-D-bespectacled eyes.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. A perfect sequel. Great story line and character development. I also enjoyed the fact that time had passed and the kids were in a different stage of life.

Heartwarming story; lovable characters; amazing CGI. If you have a 3D-enabled television, I would HIGHLY recommend you watch this. There is simply no better way to experience the film.

I loved the first movie and had to at least see the second. This was just as good, if not better than the first. This is probably one of the better 3d movies I've seen as well.

I really enjoyed this movie. As a sequel goes, especially for an animated movie, this was Ok. I didn't find it overwhelming, but liked it enough to purchase the movie.

Was pleasantly surprised by both this sequel and the original. Original plot lines and something for everyone in the family in terms of action, romance, humor, etc.

This is a rare exception in filmography where I think the sequel is better than the original. This is a strong movie all around, and would recommend to almost everyone.

Excellent movie, great for kids and adults! It picks up where the first one left off, so if you don't quite remember the first watch it again, it's a great family film.
