a good addition to the train you dragon movies and cartoons as you see the characters grow and learn more. besides it also has a digital copy to so you can watch it anywhere without having the disc with you.

I love the original HTTYD and this just made me love the series even more. The incredible animation and wonderful story make it an emotionally exiting movie and I can't wait for another addition to the series.

The first film in the series was great, but the animation, story and excitment in the sequel was top notch. You could see how much the creators of the film worked to improve on the first one.

Bought this for my son. He has been a fan of this franchise since its inception. He loves it. Haven't seen the 3d version since he doesn't like it (gives him headache). Have to admit, I like this series too.

My 10 year old daughter and I enjoyed the movie from the beginning to the end. There weren't any dull scenes and there was a lot of action. There were also a couple of surprises in store for the audience. :)

After seeing the first movie, I was looking forward to seeing this second movie once it came out on Blu Ray. It's rare that a sequel can be as good as the first, but this movie definitely was!

So I don't know if I'm in the minority here, but I thoroughly enjoyed the first HTTYD. When I watched this movie I expected so much from it because of how much I liked the original, so I was a little let down. However, by no means is it a BAD movie, I just thought the original was better. Still worth it if you're into this series. Much better than some animated sequels in recent times.

Still funny, but a more serious follow-up to the hilarious first movie. It matures the story well, with smoke action and laughs to balance the more somber moments. Can't wait to see where they go from here.

This film was more interesting than the original film. Characters have matured a bit. Slightly better animation. It DOES leave open a followup film. Excellent action scenes gave movement to the story line.

I came in with low expectations for this sequel, but it truly is a great continuation of the first movie. Graphics are good, worth the extra cash to buy it in 3D as the kiddos get a kick out of it!

Great movie probably the best animated film of 2014. Not only is it gun to watch the story is terrific too and unlike Disney of late it has a 3D version which is just fantastic. Great for the whole family!

A really solid flick! I'd say it is better than the first, which is saying something, because the first was also very good. The one flaw is that there are plenty of plot holes. However, the rest of the film was stellar! Great voice acting, great story, visually stunning, funny, and even a little unpredictable. This is an awesome film to see with the family, kids, or even by yourself.

I actually liked the first one better, but this is a fantastic movie! The animation and textures and 3d and music and sound quality and the popcorn my wife made before we watched this were ALL top notch.

Yes, the first movie was awesome, but this movie puts that WAY behind it. It was way more entertaining and made me feel way more emotions from excitement to sadness, to anxiousness to happy. What a movie.

My husband and I are huge fans of Toothless - and this movie did not disappoint! While I did like the first in the set better- this one is equally awesome. Great artwork and great acting. Hoping for more!

This is a great movie for the whole family. I enjoyed it as much at home as I did in IMAX 3-D at the movies. I plan to watch it again and again. The grandkids will love it when they visit at Thanksgiving.
