My family is a huge fan of the train your dragon movies. This was a wonderful sequel which left nothing to be desired. If you're a fan of the original, this is a must see

I like the character progression, and I consider this to be a good drama even though it's intended to be a family film. The animation is a great step up from the prequel.

Absolutely love this series! I love dragons! Dragons in 3d are extra cute. Toothless is obviously my favorite. If you liked the first then you will love the second one.

Plot, story, action, and characters are well developed in this movie. This is a good movie for older kids (maybe 6+) but might be too scary and too much for younger ones.

I totally enjoyed the first movie and waited anxiously for this one. I would recommend this to families it kept me and my grandchildren entertained from beginning to end.

Finally, a sequel that exceeds expectations and surpasses the original! On par artistically, Dragons 2 gives more heart - and life to it's franchise and it's characters.

I bought this movie for my grandchildren. They loved it! Every bit as good as the first one! I look forward to watching more installments if they have any in the works!

For a sequel, my opinion is that it is a great next chapter. Good story of choices and growing up. More character development. Suitable for elementary and preschoolers.

This is a rare moment where the sequel is just as good (maybe better) than the original. I went to theaters to see it twice and I don't even have the guise of children!

I don't remember any swearing, or gratuitous violence in this movie, which was very nice. It was fun, colorful, and had a great message. It was a great buy for sure.

We just got done watching this in 3-D. All I can say is INCREDIBLE! It looks as good as it did in the movie theater! I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone!

I love this movie! It was a great follow-up to the original. It was sweet and touching, and had it's moments where it would make you laugh. It is a GREAT family movie!

I enjoyed watching the movie with my grandsons. It was a good deal, because I bought the DVD/Blu-ray combo which I will be able to share between two sets of grandsons.

A very visually stunning film.All the magic of the original story is there.Although it was a little upsetting to lose one of the major characters. ( sorry spoiler ).

I bought How ToTrain Your Dragon 1 when it first came out on DVD.My wife doesn't usually want to watch animated DVDs but when my daughter said had seen it and was looking forward to Dragon 2, we bought it and watched them both. Even my wife really enjoyed both movies. The plot was surprizingly well thought out and engaging.
