This movie got savaged by critics and audiences, but I loved Howard The Duck. Tim Robbins was goofy but fun to watch and Lea Thompson was never cuter!

...and still better than Daredevil. After his cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy I had to hunt down this classic Marvel movie. Not counting the failed Captian America movies from the 70's, this was the first real Marvel movie, and still one of the best. Funny and witty, great movie.

Yes, it's as bad as its reputation says. Fun if you like campy crap, though.

It has to say something about the UHD format's viability and popularity when a stinker, albeit a cult classic stinker, makes its way to the premium format. Regardless of what one might think of the film, Universal's UHD should earn, well, universal acclaim. The picture is filmic and handsome and the new DTS:X soundtrack suits the movie well. No new extras are included but at least all of the legacy supplements are here, and on the UHD disc at that. Recommended, and packaging collectors can opt for the attractive SteelBook variant.

One of the best looking 4K titles that I have in my collection! If you are a Howard the Duck fan like I am, then you need this version in your life! Audio/Video is excellent!

This title has always been a childhood favorite. Movie is just as impressive as it was back in the day. The special effects of this film were way ahead of its game considering it came out in the 80's.

I've seen Howard the duck many times and it never gets old, great 80's classic that will entertain from start to finish, plus the steelbook is a plus since I like to add them to my collection.

It's really a mystery as to how the minds, such as George Lucas, somehow thought this film would appeal to the masses. Loaded with weird "adult" content and a kids comic feel, this one if fun for being so, well, strange. Fun for fans of 80's cult films.

Howard the Duck is one of those films you either love or hate. As a child of the 80's, I grew up on this classic and love it dearly. So needless to say, I am pleased it finally hit Blu. The transfer is great, and the film still has the charm that made me fall in love with it decades ago.

Is impossible not to have a great time while watching this movie. Not the usual comic adaptation, but still very entertaining. Great 4k transfer and very nice steelbook.

I bought the movie as a random purchase only because it was in the cheap DVD bin. The movie is very cheesy by modern terms, but is very entertaining and may help younger people understand why (spoiler) Howard the Duck was seen in Guardians of the Galaxy.

If you have seen it, you know what it is. If not, be prepared. It's bad. So bad it's hilarious. Definitely not the same Howard from Guardians of the Galaxy. Great nostalgia for those that were unfortunate enough to see it in theaters or on VHS.

This was an impulse purchase. I was a huge fan of it growing up, and saw it finally got a bluray release. I watched it with my family and everyone enjoyed it. It did not come offf as dated and even the next generation liked it. Catchy theme song as well.

Great pq quality for a movie I did not expect to ever come out on 4k. Im also happy they used the original VHS cover, brings me back to the old days when I used to rent this on video.

Never even seen the movie but the embossing on this steelbook in person is excellent. I bought it for that alone, and to add to my Marvel collection as a "stinger" sitting at the end.

Better Times for Space Travel. If You want to spend great adventures Howard the Duck is the One for You. Best Buy Has it now in 4K.

Fantastic Steelbook packaging with great artwork, and beautiful crisp 4K upscale. Howard The Duck hasn’t never looked so good and this is a absolute must have for any hardcore fans!

I love this movie. Saw it at least twice in the theater when it was released. So glad I waited until the blu release. It looks and sounds fantastic, and the extras are pretty amazing as well. Check it out. It's only five bucks.

I really like the artwork for this steelbook. One of my favorite movies, it was repeatedly played on HBO back in the day, I recall watching it often when I was a teenager.

The Blu Ray here is just ok in quality, that's the reason for the score of 4. Not sure if this was a new scan, but definitely not as good as some other 80s films like ghostbusters (a 5 star in my book). Best way to see this movie though!
