Happy to have classic movie from my childhood and in fantastic 4K

So much cheese in the movie. This movie is rated PG. but I think it’s more rated towards PG13. Kids shouldn’t watch this movie.

Fun fact: it's the first feature-length film based on a Marvel character. Howard the Duck is an ill-tempered "visitor" and interesting choice for any close encounter of the 5th kind. It was critical panned and bombed at the box office when it came out in 1986, but has grown into a cult classic produced by George Lucas. Howard has resurfaced in both Guardians of the Galaxy movies during the end credits. I found it in a BB bin for $5.99 which is a good deal.

I am extremely happy with this 4k steelbook buy. Artwork is what I'd expect for a premium price. The visuals and sound is a definite upgrade but don't expect to be blown away. This is a great buy for a "camp" movie about a Marvel character. Some consider Blade to be the true catalyst for the MCU it could be debated if Howard the Duck is worthy of that title.

Classic 80's movie a must buy for any anthusiasts.

This was a movie i watched as a kid in the early 90's (but i wouldnt say it is so much kid friendly lol). Its not met to be Oscar level movie and it got a lot hate towards it about how people dont like it. Its not for everyone, But its a movie that you either like it or hate it.

This film gets it's fair share of hate. It was on all the time when i was a child. I have revisited it many times since my childhood including this purchase. I enjoy it every time. Is it the best Marvel film, no but not horrible either. Despite the haters give it a shot.

If you don't like "Howard the Duck", then you should move on. But if you're like me and watched the film as a kid, you'll love this steelbook. You can really tell that they took the time and attention to make it stand out and if you're a fan of this character and movie, it's a must-have.

I saw this movie when it came out in 1986 and I have a soft spot for it! Granted it ain't Shakespeare but then again who likes Shakespeare! This is an offbeat movie and fun to boot! If you like deep movies your looking up the wrong tree!

I never knew this was part of the Marvel movies and this just doesn't fit in.

If you’re reading this, and considering a purchase, you’re probably already a fan. This is huge upgrade from older versions, both in picture quality and the soundtrack! The movie is very 80’s, but in a good way. Way underrated in my opinion. Highly recommend this!

Classic movie that I secretly love. Definitely a movie straight out of the 80's and one not without issues. However if you grew up in this time period you probably love it. When I saw the steelbook i had to add it to my collection.

I get it, people state this movie was the biggest flop in George Lucas's career. However, I really enjoy this movie. Trust me, there are scenes that will make you go "Did I just see that?" but the movie will also make you laugh quite a bit. If you haven't seen it, give it a shot. Bonus: It is pretty cheap to purchase (less than a movie ticket for a new release).

Piece of my childhood so getting to see it in 4k and high quality is a blast I never understood all the hate this film got as a kid I loved it, had action, monsters,sexy Lea Thompson, and music, comedy it was awesome and aged well in my opinion a classic !

I had been searching for this movie and others for quite some time! I went to the help desk to inquire what procedure be the best to find the movies I wanted instead of searching through the whole store, he was great and was able to tell me which ones I could find on-line (best buy) and the others at the store! So happy I can share "old" movies with my teens!

Awesome, nostalgia at its best, a film so bad it's good. Actually this is a fun flick and gotta say Phil's stop motion Dark Overlord takes the cake. Uhd looks great in fact everything looks good the only downside is a lack of 4k for digital download.
