I'm kind of amazed by the reviews I'm seeing here. Don't get me wrong-I do like this movie, and will be getting it when it's available, but a "classic"? Really? Let's face it, there is a lot that's wrong with this movie, from Howard's willingness to jump into a battle (Howard will fight, but only if he has no other choice), to the single worst special effect in the movie: Howard himself. The cheesy actor-in-a-suit wasn't believable for a second, and if George Lucas is so keen on "improving" existing movies, replace what's there with a CGI figure that looks like Howard! The plot is fun, and there is dialog that sounds like it came right from the comics, so it's worth seeing, and at $9.99 it's a value. The bottom line is that Howard the Duck doesn't deserve to be held up as the epitome of bad movie making it's been for the past 20 years, but it's never going to be on anyone's top 100 list any time soon.

Where can I start? I know fans of this movie was asking George Lucas when you going to put it out on DVD? Now i see he did, thank you. I saw this in the 80's when it come out. It's a great movie and funny also. I would put this with my best movies in the 80's list and now I can buy it. If you like those movies in the 80's and you been waiting for this DVD to come out, how you can get it for under $10.00. Not bad, it would had been cool to have a 2 disc DVD set....can't have everything. But still, It's worth getting. R.I.P. for the guy who made Howard The Duck, it was a comic book before the movie.

FINALLY! The day I have been waiting for since Goerge Lucas started releasing his movies on DVD, Howard the Duck on DVD. Might be one of the worst movies ever made but it's in my top 10 of most favorite! I grew up watching this movie as a kid and I still love it even at 28! This is a true classic movie that deserved DVD format years ago! Way overdue but finally it's here!

I have seen this movie like a thousand times, there's some parts of the movie that are funny, anyway I gave it to someone as a gift so, I'm not going to give away all the parts of the movie. But, its a good movie for someone who never seen this movie.

It has been years since I have seen this movie but I love it. I know it is not the best that Lea Thompson has done, but I love the movie, especially Howard. He is hilarious.

An obscure film lol. I remember it from when I was a child. Cool movie just for the nostalgia but definitely not for small children. It's so cheesy it's good. Lol. Brought me back to my childhood.

It was great to watch a alien duck come to earth to have fun. I would reccommend it to other people to watch. I enjoyed it on vhs and now I have it on dvd.
