In Hayao Miyazaki's animated masterpiece, enter a breathtaking fantasy world filled with adventure, humor and heart. The film is a great addition to Studio Ghibli's collection, and this DVD+BluRay combo is a convenient way to own it.

This is such a beautiful movie! Especially in HD! This right next to Spirited Away are among some of my top favorite studio Ghbili movies (although they are all so good it's hard to choose a fave haha) But this movie really is beautiful on Blu-Ray (it looks like a whole new movie almost) so if you've been wanting to get it or upgrade to HD the time is now! ;p I've been getting all of my favorite Ghibli movies again since they are now coming out on Blu-Ray looking better than ever! Especially the older classics like Castle In The Sky, Nausicaa & Totoro, ect. ^_^

My son loves and knows his anime so the fact that he asked me to buy this means it's probably a good one.

There's not much to say other than that Ghibli Studio films are the best and Howl's Moving Castle is on of the more imaginative films to come out. My fiance and I pick up a Ghibli Film every chance we get. The Set comes with great extras and that allow you to really enjoy the movie more. The quality is excellent. Highly recommend both this movie set and any Studio Ghibli Films, Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki are geniuses. Enjoy

I love studio Ghibli so if you don't like any of their other stuff, you won't like this either. This is based on a Diana Wayne Jones book and is kind of weird, but its a fun movie. It actually takes some effort to understand what is going on, though, since the film doesn't hand you everything on a platter. Honestly, I didn't like it the first time I saw it, but my daughter convinced me to give it another look and I really enjoyed it.

Maybe not as strong as other Miyazaki works such as Totoro, Spirited Away, and Nausicaa, this is still a solidly entertaining animated feature. The original Disney release was good. This has more extras, but does drop the Pete Doctor interview. Shout! Factory/GKids has been doing a great job re-releasing Studio Ghibli's fantastic catalog of work.

Great graphics, my daughter, for whom I purchased this, enjoys it

If your a fan, no need for a review really, you already know about this movie. The blu-ray does come with a nice little story/art book, small things like this make it worth owning. If your looking to buy for an anime fan and they enjoy physical edition's, you really can't go wrong with this one. I do recommend taking a sneak peak at their collection if you can to see if they don't already have it.

We've seen a few movies from this Disney studio now, and we haven't been dissapointed with any of them. 'Howl's Moving Castle' is no exception. While it is a bit more mature in terms of subject matter, we had no objections with any of our young kiddos watching this film. In fact, it was wonderful and laden with love, loss, hard choices and some REALLY great humor (especially from the voice acting talent of Billy Crystal)!

Howl's Moving Castle is a fanciful movie that is best viewed on a Blu-ray disc. My children, and now my grandchildren, love to watch these beautifully animated and imaginative Japanese movies. I was pleased to be able to add this wonderful movie to our family video library. My children were overherd telling their friends that this is a family favorite and they enjoy watching it over and over againl

I love this movie so much- one of my all time favs! I bought this to replace an aging dvd I already own. I've watched this movie countless times, but it was a no brainier to purchase this second copy- especially when the other dvd skips or pauses during the good parts! A very good find to all those who enjoy other Hayao Miyazaki movies or are a fan to the genera! An absolute must have in my opinion!!

Ok so....out of allllllll the studio ghibli movies this is my favorite.!!!!!....Studio Ghibli does it again....i think everyone should own this movie......should watch this movie.....should tell a friend to watch....buy it for your children.....show it in the day care....everything....a great movie by far..mega entertaining .!!!!

I thought the preview was interesting, my wife thought it was a war movie and didn't want to see it. She saw an extended preview and well we bought the movie. Two kingdoms, one trying to take over the other, throw in witches and warlocks, there minions; things can get confusing. Then some budding love story and of course the castle that moves. Watch it, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

What a very creative story!! It was a little hard for my kids to follow what was happening in the beginning, but they caught on soon enough and really enjoyed it! Great animation for sure!!!
