A classic anime film that is right up my alley!!!!

I think this was good anime film but compare to others it wasn’t as good. The anime art style is still breathtaking to watch and voice talent is nice. This great anime film for kids,teens,young adults and older adults can learn many lessons to apply to their real lives. Don’t think anime is for kids only or brainless, you can learn things from this movie like for example anti-war theme, don’t disrespect youthful kids or elderly people instead listen to them. The music in this anime is awesome and you should buy the soundtrack.

I wanted to love the film but I wasn’t as emotionally invested compared to other films from the studio. However, it is still good nonetheless and better than most animated films

This Disney film is family fare for all ages with deep characterizations that come to life. Studio Ghibli is famous in Japan for crafting magical stories from the heart that appeal to children and adults alike. All the voices for the characters are dramatically voiced by no less than 7 famous American actors and actresses. Studio Ghibli spared no expense by creating such imaginative animations in order to create a convincing world with characters that you care about and a memorable story that tugs at your heart. Using professional voices to convey emotions works so well that you forget that you are watching a cartoon.

Bought this for my son. I remember hime watching these as a kid. Brought back great memories. Great Qaulity and digital copy allows me to add to online account.

The Blu-ray format makes everything very clear, nice crisp lines on the TV. Worth the additional couple dollars to buy it on Blu-ray for sure

I love this movie. I have been waiting to replace my DVD with a Bluray of it and I'm so glad I did! Such a rich picture. I can't get enough of this movie. If you like Studio Ghibli movies and you haven't seen this one, get it! If you just like good stories and are open to an animated film (most likely if you're reading this you like anime or at the very least Ghibli, so yeah) this one is fantastic! Loved this movie since I was younger (11 years ago when it first came out!), even now it's still my favorite from their movies!
