Great all around glass protection.

The peace of mind they provide, plus the ease of cleaning, makes them a required addition, along with a lens hood and padded pouch, to any lens I purchase. While I cannot say that this filter does anything other UV filters don't do, it certainly does work well and on the other hand, I have no reason to disbelieve the manufacturer's claims either.

Excellent Lens Protection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this on my best pro zoom lens, and it has no impact on image quality whatsoever. It prevents me from having to clean the front element if the lens is being used in dusty or wet conditions. I have never had a protection filter that was both so clear and so easy to clean (with a lenspen) if it gets dirty or wet. I have the Hoya EVO series UV and polarizer filters for all my serious glass. It's as good or better than the top end B&W products, which are more expensive.
