Wanted to protect my Lens

A few sales associates told me this was a higher quality filter to still provide quality images. I am pleased as it also helps my lens to not fog up when going from indoors to outdoors for example. I often take portraits at the beach so I was also concerned with protection from sand and scratches.

Well worth the price

The Antistatic properties of the Hoya Antistatic filters work great. So far, they have been the best at repealing dust and require less cleaning.

Better than B+W

I used to use only B+W filters but have found bubbles and other weird particles in their filters so I switched and have been very satisfied with my decision. They are also cheaper than the B+W comparable filter.
