This one of several HP monitors that I have purchased. This one is good also, except that it is too “widescreen.” Overall, the color gamut and calibration is good.

Excellent plug and play monitor for extra work space. I am not a techno-geek so won't go into how fast it responds and how much better the colors look, yadda, yadda, yadda. I will say that when you're working with multiple worksheets in excel or building a multi-page powerpoint presentation, this monitor does exactly what it was built to do: provide excellent extra work-space for doing that kind of work.

After a few weeks of use the screen suddenly went black and glitchy. It was past the best buy return time but I contacted HP and they gave me a brand new one. The exchange process was very easy. The new one has been working great. Only problem is that even though I've adjusted the screen settings multiple times...if a page is maximized there's about a 1/4 inch cut off the edges, which makes it hard to click a back button or "x" to close a browser. This might just be something I'm doing wrong but I'm fairly tech savvy so I think it's just the way the monitor is. I don't think I'd buy another one, but it gets the job done for the price.

I got this monitor to replace my Samsung sync master 23 Inc. This monitor is cool and sleek its nice silver look blends with my mac mini . Setting up monitor took half of the time of unboxing it.. it's thin design gives excellent look on my work space. It's performance is excellent in rendering images or videos...it is perfect for dual monitor extension or single monitor desktop. Overall good product at good price...

This monitor has no glare at all. The 23" width helps see everything and it's very clear. Whether working or playing games, this is an all around great monitor.

First I purchased a smaller monitor because I did not want to spend very much more money when I purchased my new desktop computer tower and a couple days later the bigger better monitor that I originally looked at went on sale for basically the same price as the smaller one so I did an exchange and purchased the bigger and better quality monitor.. Im so glad I did because their was a huge difference..

Picked up this monitor as a gift for my mother who wanted a "desktop" setup to go with her laptop. Found this HP 23" monitor on sale at my local store. Build quality is very good, almost rivaling high dollar units from dell, LG and ASUS. Sturdy, brushed aluminum style base and decent tilt. The image is sharp with no glare, dead pixels or significant backlight bleed when used in a normal-lit room. You do get what you pay for though: limited I/O on the back, no speakers, and color accuracy leaves a bit to be desired. The adjustment options are limited as well, but for the ~130 I paid for it, still a pretty good deal.

I bought 2 of these to use with my new computer in an extended display setup. They work well and have a sharp image -- right out of the box -- no adjustment required. Only think I would say is the stand seems a little flimsy but probably not a problem since the overall monitor is so light. A plus is that the monitor is almost unbelievable thin, especially compared to my 3 year old HP display.

This is a great computer monitor. I bought this to use with my 2015 Macbook Air when I am at home. I must say, this screen looks way better than my laptop display. Best part is it did not cost nearly as much as a Apple Computer monitor, and it has the same display quality. P.S. I have had this monitor for about 5 months now. I highly recommend this monitor for Mac users. It won't disappoint.

Good looking monitor, great colors, great pictures. No driver for Vista ( I know, old computer, but still works great), but F1 bypassed the setup screen, and then no problem. Just have to remember the F1 trick when I reboot. I use it at a 2nd home, so I only have to bring the tower itself back and forth between houses. I would buy again if I needed another monitor. Note, does NOT come with a vga cord.

I tried using an older flat screen monitor from my old computer but was disappointed with the picture quality. Remembering this monitor from the store I decided to purchase the 23es and things just fell into place. A very high quality picture and clean crisp images were more than I expected and the price was so low I could not believe that I did not buy this when I purchased my desktop computer.

I don't know how I ever worked without a large screen. I suppose you could get anyone, but I like having all my equipment made by the same manufacturer.
