Finally, something designed well, namely this HP 24" IPS LED FHD silver monitor. I love the heavy stand, which was easily assembled since the pieces fit together intuitively and screw together securely without tools, using the built-in flip-up "handle" camera tripod type screws which are "captive" and do not easily fall out during the attachment process. The stand easily adjusts height several inches without tools simply by lifting up or pressing down on the monitor while hold the base secure, friction is what locks the adjustment in place. The stand also allow for adjusting the tilt angle of the monitor. Basically height adjustable and angle adjustable (for any search engines of Q&A). Image quality? I am a causal gamer (everything from Loom 1991? (oh, you don't have a DOS 6.22 computers still running?) to MSFX2020, to some of latest COD games, I just use games to benchmark and tweak my main rig which is more entertaining than gaming is to me) so the 'nth degree of refresh rate is unimportant to me. I use this monitor for teleworking and data mining large data sets, image quality is fine for that. I bought this monitor because it is the same size as the two I have at my home desk which are connected via a KVM to several computers, so this monitor makes a good "spare" for that rig, and will be suitable for photo and video editing suites.

The good: The monitor is a very sleek looking device, very small bezels and overall the design is non-offensive and will fit in mostly any surrounding. The monitor has some cable management to make sure your desk setup looks as clutter free as possible. It was super easy to set up and the adjustable stand is great addition so you can adjust it to your personal preference. While using it for extended time frames I didn't feel any eye fatigue which is great since I find my self spending more and more time on screens. The screen colors were a bit warm for video/picture editing out of the box but it wasn't too hard to correct this. The IPS screen provides great viewing angles so you can see close to perfectly from any angle. The bad: there really isn't much bad with the HP M24h I feel HP has used some mid-tier components because that is the segment they were aiming for. Overall the monitor is great for someone that isn't looking to do any creative work or isn't concerned about having the best refresh rate/screen. HP has made this monitor a top end mid-tier monitor that you can use to play some games in a decent lit room(300 nit screen) and something that can set up quickly.

I purchased 2 of these when they went on sale. Perfect monitor setup! Great picture quality, and slim design makes these look nice aesthetically.

The HP M24h monitor was so easy to set-up. Insert the upright into the base, the display onto the upright, tighten a few screws (no screwdriver required) and it's ready to go. There's even a "loop" on the back of the tower to organize cables and keep them out of the way. The stand is sleek/modern and looks great on my desk. At less than 8 pounds, it's easy to move around as necessary. The 100mm height adjustment and top/bottom tilt feature make it easy to see at virtually any angle. HP also offers an Ergonomic set up guide to help you achieve the proper viewing height. At 23.8", the display is razor-thin, the bezel is barely visible, and the bevel design makes it easy to use in a dual-screen application. Looking at it on my desk, I see nothing but screen! The display features 1080p HD, "Eye-Ease" certification, and a blue light filter that's always on. This helps reduce eye strain yet maintains the true colors you expect. AMD FreeSync locks the display's refresh rate to match that of FreeSync compatible graphics cards. The colors are deep and the refresh rate makes the colors flow smoothly. The buttons on the bottom edge are easy to find/use and work with the onscreen display so you can easily make adjustments if necessary. The monitor has both HDMI and Display ports allowing you to use it with either a laptop or a desktop, and the package even included an HDMI cable. As an added bonus, the monitor is made from 95% recycled plastic and even the box is recyclable. HP has created a monitor that rivals the design of most TV's. This thing is beautiful and works great!

I know monitors can seem to be similar but it is easy to write a positive review for this particular monitor. It has very good adjustability as far as the height and tilting abilities to be able to seamlessy fit it into a multiple monitor setup. It was super easy to set up and was packaged extremely well. It also feels very well built for longevity. The full HD display is bright and the text is super easy to read and make out even when the font is small. The internal settings and software made it very easy to customize for exceptional clarity which is very nice to ease the strain on my eyes that other monitors in this price point don't have. Even though it is a monitor, I am giving it the full five stars because the cables give flexability in placement of the monitor a good distance from the plug and the cable management ability makes for a seemless install in a world where there are wires going everywhere for multiple peripherals that are common these days. I can't express enough how the design features of this monitor just make it a great product all around!!

Great monitor!! This monitor is crisp! It was easy to assemble, and it connected to my desktop as a second monitor and I am using it as my main monitor now. The colors are true on this monitor very similar to a Mac! I love it. It's adjustable which is great because I like to have it at a certain height. It was packaged really good and has all of the necessary cords. I would highly recommend this monitor. I play a lot of Minecraft and other fast paced games and it performs very well. I have tested it out watching fast paced sports and it even looks good with those. It's a good size at 24" as well. If you are looking for a monitor, this one is definitely worth it. No more eye strain either. It doesn't show finger prints. It has a lot of customizable features to change the brightness, contract, colors, etc to make it look the best for your environment. I believe it is also mountable for those who don't want to use the stand. I am using the stand and it's very sturdy. Overall great product!

I have the 2021 version of this monitor and this new one has one key upgrade that makes it just about the perfect Work-From-Home (WFH) monitor! That upgrade is the ability to adjust the monitor's height. With this change, I can now (without stacking books) adjust my monitor very easily to achieve ergonomic perfection! As for the monitor itself: the set up was super simple with all the cables and connections right in the box, the color & features are just fine out of the box, but it does allow plenty of adjustability for those that wish to mess with brightness, coloring, etc.. The very small "frame" around the edge of the monitor means that almost all of the surface of the screen is actually used, making it a lot easier on my eyes and MUCH BETTER than ever having to use my laptop's tiny monitor. A few months ago, I may have indicated that a built-in webcam and speaker would have made this monitor perfect, BUT... I actually have another monitor with a built-in camera and the webcam no longer works (stopped right after warranty period, of course). As such, I'[m not sure anymore that I want a monitor to do much more than just be a great monitor- and the HP M24h FHD Monitor 23.8in fits that bill!!

This is a fantastic monitor. Out of the box I was happy with the size of it. I work remote and have been using a company supplied 20" monitor so I has happy to have something a little bigger. 24" is the perfect size for my home office. The monitor comes with the power cable and an HDMI cable, which I was glad to see. Companies are starting to get cheap and skimp on accoutrements that should be included. Hooking up the monitor and getting it going was as easy as you would expect. I LOVE the buttons on the lower right of the monitor as they are easy to find and manipulate (this is a problem for me on many monitors. The picture is impressive and crystal clear. Teams meetings online are much more clear than on the HD monitor I was using previously. The monitor has an always-on low blue light filter which I am very excited to have. I am getting older and the eyesight is starting to wane, so any protections I can get are appreciated. I am also very impressed with the wide angle view. HP boasts 178 degree. I happily give this monitor 5 stars as I will get a lot of use out of it.

This monitor works exactly as described. Hookup was easy and the picture is clear and crisp. I would purchase it as a gift without hesitation for a good friend. Shipping was fast and the price was fair.

Clear image and a nice wide screen for a WFH monitor. It raises and lowers and tilts which is helpful. It’s also very thin and lightweight. Overall a great monitor at a great price.

I have a WIndows server and a hardwired security camera system that need to have a connected monitor for maintenance and administrative functions. I found this one and though it would meet my needs. The monitor is very thin and incredibly light. Setup is simple and an HDMI cable is even included. I was able to use that to connect to the Windows server, and the security camera DVR connected via the monitor's VGA port. The menu controls are also intuitive and easy to use. Switching between the two inputs (HDMI and VGA) is very simple - two clicks of the far right control butt does that toggle. The image quality is very good and I especially like the frameless image that goes all the way to the edge of the screen. It makes it look clean and modern. The stand is counter-weighted to make the monitor height easy to adjust. I have two complaints. First is that this monitor uses an external transformer "brick" for its power supply. I'd rather have the housing of the monitor be a bit larger or thicker to have that built-in. It also lacks the ability to be wall or "arm" mounted, because it has no VESA capability. There may be an aftermarket adapter the fits into the monitor housing in place of the bracket for its stand but I have yet to find one. Overall, I like this monitor and would recommend it, but if you want to mount it, I'd make a different choice. That and the external power brick are the the only reasons for this falling short of a 5 star rating.

This HP monitor is easy to set up when I first bought it. The display quality is good. The size of the monitor fits well on my desk.

I've been using HP products seems like forever. It was my first personal computer, I've had all of their peripherals, monitors, printers, love their scanners! They've generally always made a quality product. You do tend to get what you pay for. I'd say this monitor would be great for a student or office work that doesn't demand a fast refresh rate as you would expect for use in a gaming situation. It's nicely designed appearance wise.. It is adjustable height wise and slightly tiltable. All of the buttons are conveniently placed right their on the bottom side of the monitor. The max resolution is full HD 1920 x 1080. One of the features I did appreciate this monitor having was HP's Eye Ease with Eyes safe certification. Keeping your eyes from straining by having a blue light filter which if you're like me and you're looking at a screen for work, school, and home, that's a lot of time looking at a screen and can really cause strain and sometimes that muscle twitching Another thing I like is HP caring about our earth, using 85% recycled parts to build this and comes in 100 % recycled packaging The color is great, even watching movies looks good colorwise. Overall a decent all around monitor for someone needing a basic monitor

I often do a lot of writing and research. I am always toggling through multiple screens. This monitor has made my work easy and efficient. Would definitely recommend this monitor.
