First I will start off by saying that I am an artist whom seeks perfect color accuracy and perfect 2.2 gamma accuracy coupled with near perfect black/ white contrast ratio so the work I do is uniform with prints and on other screens. Now that being said, This monitor is superb! Perfect Gamma calibration, near perfect color accuracy, and with dynamic contrast enabled, near perfect contrast ratio ( blacks are black! ) I have owned this monitor for about 2 weeks now and have yet to notice any light bleed in the edges of the screen, has fluid motion in movies/ games ( over my LG IPS235v ) It has a nice feature for gamers that reduces ghosting called ( Video OverDrive found under Image Control ) It even features custom scaling for those who may be playing older games or playing PS2 games on a backwards compatible PS3. This is a darn good buy and am very very happy with my purchase! HP, you just got yourself a customer! Only wish this monitor supported AMD freesync, but that isn't enough to take away a star.

I replaced two aging samsung 22 inch LED monitors with two of these HP 25 inch LED's. Each is connected via DVI t--> NVIDIA Cards. The machines are running linux, First of all, these monitors were perfectly calibrated (to my liking) out of the box. I never experienced this before. Most of the time I buy an LED or IPS, power it on and spend a while get all of the colors and other levels just right. Not this time around. One of my main concerns was the amount of back light bleed or "glow". Its present, but its so minimal I don't even notice it. Color accuracy is really good. I'm not a professional photographer or graphics designer, but the colors certainly look good to my eyes. one other thing, I went to a best buy close to home hoping to see this monitor on display. While it was on display, I could not help but notice how horrible this display looked. How horrible all of them looked, including the higher end models. I looked at the settings, on these HPs and they looked fine. Thats when I turned the monitor around. They have this one and all the others hooked up to a VGA connections. This made absolutely no sense to me. I almost did not buy them because they it looked so bad and thought, for a second, that the reviews I read were fake. I grabbed two, headed home, set them and wow. I'm very happy with these displays.

I never realized what I was missing! I love my new monitor the color is awesome and the response time is off the charts. I looked far and wide for just the right monitor and when I found this one I was in love. It is just the right size I can easily have two Windows opened at the same time with no problem.

The web site is not the current prince paid 140.00 for it . very good crisp color . eveything looks amazing on the monitor . going to try to get another one if i can find a duel monitor stand for this type of bracket. no wasted space on the monitor as well . or on the bizel like some have .

If you are in the store looking at all the monitors unsure which one to buy get this one! I bought this monitor for my home office and I am very happy with it. Bright colors, easy on the eyes, clean and crisp. I hardly ever write reviews but this monitor deserves a positive review.

Was looking for something to replace my aging 22" TN panel monitor. Saw this at a competitor's website first, but found it at BestBuy cheaper. Brought it home, plugged it in and WOW, what a difference. Switching to a 25" - I didn't expect it to be that much bigger. No VESA mounts, but I knew that prior to purchase. The color and crispness are great. The bezel is tiny. Picture looks great without any type of adjustment (I am not a monitor snob). The stand isn't too tall and easily tilts. Highly recommended.

There were a dozen computer screen displays at the store. I purchased this one purely based on picture quality. This was in-between a Samsung and an Acer. Below it was a Lenovo. This had the best picture quality.

If you are looking for a new monitor, you have come to the right place. Lightweight, great resolution, and a good price.

I wanted to replace an Acer LCD I've been using a number of years for my Mac. I've always been a little disappointed in how the LCD looked compared to the built-in display of the MacBook Pro. Well, the 25vx compares very well to my MacBook Pro. Gorgeous colors and deep blacks make this the best monitor I've ever owned.

Lightweight, decent HD resolution, quick response time. This monitor has been great as I move around to use for work purposes as well as connecting to my PS4 for gaming

I bought this to replace a broken Acer 23" IPS panel. I managed to pick this up for $110 during a sale and have not been disappointed with it. The colors are vibrant and near perfect. The contrast is great and there is no light bleed after 3 months. Will definitely be buying a second one next time they are on sale.

Color and picture quality are awesome. I really loved this monitor, but I couldn't get past 1 issue. The screen is rather glossy and reflects light right back at you. This may not be an issue if you don't have a light or windows behind you, but if you do, it's almost impossible to see the screen. In a darker room with no lights or windows behind you, it's one of the most beautiful screens you'll see. You'll have to see if it fits your environment and if it does, you won't be disappointed.

Maybe I just got a dog but it took me weeks to correct the awful color shift on this monitor, which was slanted heavily to the red and green. Once tuned, it looks pretty good but it should be good to go out of the box. If all you are doing is web surfing and/or watching video, you may not notice the problem. But I have a dual monitor setup used mainly for reading (text) and finely detailed stock charts and this HP looked dreadful next to my LG. The monitor comes with software to correct the problem or you can use the built in tools in Windows 10. Still cannot get a good clean bright white but it's good enough. Some my find the glossy finish on the screen a problem too since it is a glare generator in brightly lit rooms. Also had problems with the HDMI connection, which simply would not work. In fact, when connected via HDMI, it shut down the other monitor too. Finally had to go VGA on the HP and DVI on the other monitor. This was not an issue on the old HP monitor this one replaced. Sadly, this is typical of most HP products these days, which tend to be problem plagued.

excellent IPS monitor for the price for general browsing and office suite use. good enough size that 1080p is still legible and easily used on cramped desk space, sufficient connections for older laptops/desktops and newer ones with HDMI connections.

I got this for a 2nd TV for my bedroom and we also used it for duel gaming screens when playing multi-player games on-line - worked well in both scenarios.

I bought this monitor on sale and was hoping to get a steal of a deal. Well, the features on it are nice and easy to navigate but the QUALITY is what I'm not happy with. I am connected to a MacBook Pro through an HDMI port and the resolution is not great. It's fair but the words on the screen (in Word Doc) are fuzzy. It's very hard in the eyes when things online. Regardless of the setting, there is no way to sharpen the edges of the lettering. I'll be exchanging this monitor for a Samsung, LG or Dell. Maybe I got a bad one in the batch because the reviews were great on this. Hope you all have better luck, especially if you get it on sale.
