happy to have it and sad not to buy it when its was on sale i should of wait. lol, but hey im so happy with this monitor i been looking for a great monitor and not to expensive; and found 27 inches was on sale. but decide this one HP(25es) because it has more pixel dimension and it is not that big and small, good for gaming and other work editing for professional i work with Photos editing and it perfect PC monitor, the only thing you cant be in the darkness playiing or editing because its so brighness that will eat your eyes so you might need to turn any lights around you so you wont be bother when your eyes are into this monitor. best of luck great monitor and no regret. by the way always at the End get the 4 years protection Never know.

I bought a pair of these monitors on sale for $129 each ($100 off MSRP) and they are amazing. The bezel is really narrow. The thickness (or thin-ness) of the monitor is mind blowing. The base has a relatively small footprint. The monitor is IPS LED so it doesn't give off a lot of heat. The image quality and superb. The only negative point I can come up with for this monitor is that it's not VESA compatible (you can't mount it), but other than that, I would highly recommend it. You can't find a better monitor for the price.

So I went into Best Buy looking for a 4K display. When I got to looking around, I decided that I didn't want to pay the prices that 4K displays cost. So, I had to look at different options. I had a budget and low and behold, this display was on sale! I took a look at the specs, played with the demo model and purchased. I'd say the setup was super easy. Took the items out of the box, had it pieced together, plugged into my 5 year old desktop pc and was in business in say, 15 minutes! The picture quality is great. I had to take a minute or two to find the settings that best went with my desktop and the rest is history. Note: I also have a mid 2014 Macbook Pro 15". I asked the customer service rep did I need a connector of some sort to hook my laptop to the monitor. She said yes. However, that is incorrect. You do not need a connector to pair this display with a Macbook. There is a HDMI slot in the back of the MacBook that connects the laptop. And there is a HDMI cord included with the display. I love this display. If you are sitting on the fence and not sure, go for it. I got this display on sale now I am a happy customer.

I purchased this HP 25es on sale for $138, all taxes included -- what an excellent value! The picture quality is excellent: sharp text, vibrant/saturated colors, no video ghosting (to my amateur eyes). I rate this higher than my 2013 IPS displays from Dell & Lenovo, both of which were in the $160-180 range at the time and smaller (23"). The build quality is spot on: a matte heavy silver metal base, rather than light/cheap plastic. With exception of the bottom bezel, all the other bezels are thin, and the side profile is quite thin also -- a perfect updated look for a 2017 display. Of note, I am not a gamer so I can't comment on gaming performance. I am also not in professional graphics/photography/video editing, so can't comment on a professional level there. At any rate, for viewing HD Youtube, Netflix, etc, I rate this two enthusiastic thumbs up! In addition, great for productivity software, CAD, and just all around surfing; easy on the eyes. Finally, kudos to Best Buy for a great sale price!

Very well made monitor with great colors. Have this monitor in front kitchen room with lots of natural sun light and it has very little glare. Only flaw is lack of height adjustability. Other than that, this is a great monitor.

Great picture quality and design. The monitor is sleek and lightweight. Would be better with built in speakers.

tl;dr: This monitor was a great buy for the price at which I bought it ($130). It was fantastic to find an IPS monitor that has 2 HDMI ports which is difficult to find in 24" - 27" monitors at this price point. (DISCLAIMER: I have had the monitor for 5 days) (DISCLAMIER 2: I do not know much about monitors. I'm an average Joe in this department. But I can tell what is eye pleasing and what's not...so hopefully this review helps...) Reason for buying it: I needed a monitor to connect my laptop to to free some space on my desk. I also wanted more screen area to fit the multiple windows I need open for software development. Design: The design is slick and thin. I love the thin screen and the stylish metallic stand. It does not take up much room on my small desk which is a plus. Its contemporary style goes quite nicely in my room. Image Quality: The colors are vibrant as expected of a IPS display. It also has minimal to no light-bleeding. The image quality is good but not great. Images do not look too sharp on the screen. It is possible to increase the sharpness of images through the menu settings but doing so causes text to look jagged and difficult to read. I currently am using the Gaming color setting which I find to be a good balance of picture quality with easy to read text. Glossy/Matte Screen: The screen is neither fully glossy nor matte. It lies in an in between state. This probably contributes to the lack of great looking colors and images expected from a glossy screen. However it is a good medium of both worlds and allows for long sessions of textbook reading as well as enjoyable Netflix binging. Brightness Level: Its bright. Very bright. It can light up half of my room in pitch darkness. The lowest brightness setting is good for reading. Conclusion: Overall, I think the monitor is a solid buy for the price point of $130 as a 25" IPS monitor. It doesn't blow me out of the water with its image quality but its very good nevertheless. If you are looking for a monitor for day to day use and heavy reading, this monitor should do the job.

Love the quality of the monitor. I don’t like the inability to covert it to an arm mount.

I purchased this unit in store because it was on sale and had a 25in screen. I got it for a good price and took it home the same day. Installation was easy enough. It looks very nice. The silver and thin bezels make a very sharp and professional appearance. The first problem I found with this computer however was that the white point was pretty low. The whites seem to have a grayish brown tint that is very noticeable. I changed the settings in the software that comes with the unit but it didn't help much. Its not too annoying but it is something to consider. My other complaint is that it has a 7ms response time. For a computer that is (retail) over $200 I would expect a little bit better response time however, I have not received any ghosting yet so that was a plus. Overall it is a good buy if you can catch it on sale.

WOW is very easy to hook up and the picture is beautiful.I love it ,My Husband purchased for me two day's ago i am very happy with this monitor.

Assembles very easily plug-and-play comes with the CD I didn't install it. Very clean lines very crisp screen good color situation very pleased!

I bought this to pair up with my old HP monitor that is the same size and style. The new monitor is thinner, has a smaller bottom bezel, and a better stand. Honestly, I didn't expect this as my previous experience is that older monitors tend to use more expensive materials. The picture seems about on par with the old one too, although the colors are not exactly the same, it could be close if I played with the settings. Overall, I am thrilled for the price.

I was using a triple viewsonic 22" monitor setup and found my self not to be using the extra two monitors much and I wanted to create a His/her desk with my wife in our office room. This monitor was on sale this weekend for $120 and I couldn't resist the deal. We got two of these setup for our desktops, back to back and they look great! The size is good enough for multitasking and I don't feel the need for extra monitors. I'd definitely recommend this

Today I just got this monitor and the setup was easy, it took about 5 minutes and then it was very easy to connect! It performs amazing and I cannot find any flaws other than that the screen cannot be adjusted but I love it. The frame is thin and the screen is bright. I would recommend this to anyone who would want to make a gaming setup or for other purposes because it works great and I just love it! The screen is so HUGE!

When I got it home and started unpacking I noticed immediately that this had been opened before which did not make me happy. Nobody told me this was an obvious return... but when I continued to unbox it I loved the outside so much I decided it didn't matter so much. I really wanted to love this monitor. I saw the price and how good it looked in the store and decided to give it a shot. You couldn't ask for a prettier monitor for your desk. Lightweight, very thin and matched my MacBook Pro beautifully! Sadly that's where the good things all are... on the outside. I have never in my life gotten a headache working on my MacBook or using my 24" Asus gaming monitor among the countless screens I've stared at in my life. I had a full blown migraine within 30 minutes after the initial setup. I tried every color and lighting setting I could to no avail. The font is grainy at best and enough to give anyone a headache and bad eye strain, but then no matter how much I lowered the brightness it still felt like someone was shining a high powered flashlight in my eyes. Today I found an AOC 27" i2757FH that is $299 at Best Buy but I got for $125 on Craigslist and the difference is startling. I love it so much I'll pay the $300 when it comes time to by another one. With a heavy heart I will be returning the HP tomorrow and buying another AOC in the near future.

Originally bought a dell monitor from another retailer that had terrible blacks and color. Washed out and blacks were grey. Bought this monitor and its beautiful. Still not the best but very good for the price. Colors are great, motion is good. Solid stand and feel. Just wish it had an audio out. Other than that great for light gaming and productivity!

This was a bit of an impulse buy, I have been wanting a monitor a little smaller than my Samsung S27C500 that is a little more energy efficient (turns out this HP model is actually a decent amount less efficient). The monitor is a marvel aesthetically, it looks great, is incredibly thin, has small bezels, and is made out of actual metal, not just metal looking plastic. Ultimately, however, the picture quality just wasn't there when I compared it side by side to my current samsung monitor (Which, was in the same price range when new). The blacks on this HP monitor were more gray than black, and it started to get on my nerves after about 3 days of use. I fiddled with the brightness and other various image settings but just couldn't find a mode I liked. The screen just doesn't do dark colors very well. There is a "HP enhance+" setting that actually makes the screen look a good amount better, but for some reason the monitor would not let me save it/turn it on. So in review, this monitor is aesthetically near perfect, in my opinion. The screen/image quality just isn't there. However, if you don't have a monitor that you will compare this to side by side, it's possible you won't even notice any of the things I did. This monitor looks gorgeous on my desk and I'm a little bummed that I'm returning it since my Samsung monitor is like a big plastic toy with some pretty large bezels.

I use this monitor for work. Pro: It's tall and wide. The display is bright and clear. At a sale price, this is a great monitor. Con: The buttons are hidden underneath the monitor. There is no indicators in front of the monitor, so you don't know where they are located and what each button is used for.
