It s great monitor but not a ppropriate for kids specially for gaming.

The first thing I noticed as I unboxed the HP 25f monitor is the sleek, minimalist design. It took less than 5 minutes to unpack and put the monitor together. The resolution on this monitor is 1080, not 4k, it features a decent set of specs including AMD Freesync, 5ms response time, 75mhz refresh rate and 2 HDMI inputs as well as 1 VGA. While these are respectable specs, they’re not as fast as a dedicated gaming monitor such as Alienware, which are typically more pricy as well. The monitor doesn’t have a frame on the sides or the top, just a silver 3/4” border on the bottom, this gives it a nice sleek look. When turned on, there’s a 3/8” black border on the sides and top. There are no buttons on the face of the frame, instead, there are 4 buttons hidden on the bottom right, it will take a few tries to figure out what they do, but fairly intuitive once you get the hang of it. The thin metal stand is stable and does a good job in holding up the monitor. Note there are no holes on the back to mount it to a wall. Performance: There is some, not much, backlight bleed on the upper and lower left corners, if you’re using this for office applications and web browsing, you probably won’t even notice. I only noticed when I pulled a backlight bleed testing image. There are no dead pixels on the monitor, which is great. Those annoy me more than backlight bleeding since they’re usually more noticeable. I put this to the test with Fortnite and watching 2 movies. Fortnite handled beautifully. At 75mhz refresh rate, it performed great, no tearing or blurred motion. As I’m more of a causal gamer, I’m fine with a reasonably priced monitor that can handle occasional games, if you’re looking for a gaming monitor, this isn’t it. Using “Movie mode”, the monitor does a great job here as well. As noted earlier, the bleeding is evident is evident with the black bars on top and bottom. Aside from that, I had no complaints while watching streaming videos, good color and detail in dark scenes. Conclusion: Overall this monitor is an excellent choice for price and what you get. While there are some features I wish it had such as adjustable height, speakers and USB ports, it is a great option for those looking for good monitor at this price point. A few weeks back, I was looking for a nice-looking monitor at a decent price, after a week, I gave up. Prices were either $500+ or inexpensive ($150-200), but constructed out of cheap looking plastics and the base was wobbly. This fills the gap nicely. Pros: 1 Great overall monitor for office applications, videos, some gaming 2. Nice design overall, stable base design. 3. Good quality control – no dead pixels. Cons: 1. Lack of height adjustment 2. No USB ports 3. No speakers 4. Some light bleeding on left corners. 5. No VESA mount

The controls and/or knobs are not in the best location or easy to get at given how it is situated on the desk.

Great monitor but on the more expensive side. You could easily find a cheaper monitor with the same specs.

use this at work excessively, all the time! It is used more that it should be, more than 8 hours a day....

very hard to hook up to older computer but the screen is crystal clear

This is a good monitor for the cost. Nothing extra exciting about it, but it does the job.

the monitor has great graphics but it is a bit unstable, and isn't adjustable for height.

The color science is ok, but hard to beat for the price.

I don't have too much to say about this monitor because it is brand new. It is working ok so far.
