A few days ago the LCD panel inside broke. The last time I used it, it was was fine then turned my pc on a few days later and the screen had lines through it. There’s no signs of any impact or scratches what so ever on the outside glass or back panel. No idea how the screen would just crack. I contacted HP and they are now giving me the run around because they don’t replace damaged screens under their warranty. . . Even when it defects while sitting on a desk. There best option was for me to pay $150 for a refurbished replacement while sending back my defective one. I paid $149.99 for this monitor brand new from Best Buy. That just does not make sense to me, especially while it’s under warranty. I will try another company for my monitor needs in hopes that they DO stand behind their products and customer service.

My Mac found the monitor immediately. Edge-to-edge display with a small silver strip along the bottom. You can tilt the display for your preferred viewing angle. Good color; works well for streaming video; clear and bright picture. 25-inch screen allows you to view two office documents or two applications side-by-side. Thin and attractive. LED unit is energy-efficient. Cons: No built-in speakers. You use your computer’s speakers or connect auxiliary speakers to your computer for richer sound. Would like a denser display for graphic design work, e.g., double resolution like an Apple Retina display.

Excellent color and resolution, but when you put the computer and monitor to sleep, the monitor will not wake up. I tried another HP. (bigger screen). Same thing. Ended buying a Dell with no hitches whatsoever.
