HP delivers a very good performing versatile LED full HD monitor that works as an everyday display for general productivity work and has plenty of horsepower with the AMD FreeSync technology for casual video game play. Judged by aesthetics alone, its a beautiful, lightweight, and super slim monitor with very thin bezel edges along the top and sides and a smooth silver border along the bottom edge. Out of the box the monitor is super easy to assemble. Just attach the support arm to the stand on one end and the monitor to the other end, plug the ac power brick and cord into an outlet, and connect the supplied hdmi cable to your computer. It's all done in less than five minutes and what's great is that you don't need to break out any tools. It's a very simple set up. The stand takes up little table top real estate and the contemporary design of the stand blends in well with modern furnishings. Here are the good things about the monitor: +Almost zero bezel along the top and sides +The monitor is slim and lightweight, but feels sturdy +Images on the screen are rich, vibrant, bright and vivid, and contrast is good. +Wide viewing angles. I can still clearly see the display from extreme angles. +Once you locate the buttons along the right underside of the monitor, there are a number of adjustments you can make to the display to your liking. And the things that were not so good... -The monitor I have has some pretty bad light bleeding along the lower left and right corners of the screen. It was bothersome when watching movies where the black areas in the corners of the screen are lit up. -The only physical adjustment to the monitor is to tilt the angle up or down. To move the monitor left and right, you'll have to move the entire monitor and stand. No big deal since the monitor is rather light. The monitor also does not rotate into portrait mode. Landscape is all you're limited to. Finally, you will not be able to adjust the height of the monitor. -The glossy screen has its drawbacks. It's very reflective making it troublesome to see images and text on the display at times in environments with bright light when so much of the background is being reflected. -HP decided to omit VESA mounting for the monitor. Not sure why they did so other than to save a few pennies in manufacturing. The lack of VESA mount may be a deal breaker for you. Summary If you're able to overlook some of the shortcomings and focus on the rich and vibrant images the display is capable of, then this HP monitor is definitely worthy for consideration.

This monitor is the perfect size for my situation. Bigger than a 23" but not quite as large as a 27". The picture is quite good, multitasking works well on it, and it is ultra thin! The price point is also quite good, especially when it is on sale.

At the current price and with the outstanding quality of this monitor, there is no more reason to leave your eyes in the laptop screen. After three weeks using almost daily the monitor, I am impressed by the resolution that is equality outstanding for my current word document, for a Netflix movie or for my son videogames, it’s what the factory call Full HD and I call impressive visual experience. I am not an expert but when I purchased my big screen TV, one of the most important items that the experts will recommend you is the refresh rate of the screen (I’ve been explained that is the speed of moving the images in the screen) and this monitor has 75Hz, that become better than two of my house TVs but is also an energy efficient LED screen. With several ports, two of them HDMI, I can connect here my old analog device (still family pictures in there) and the new digital laptop. A final positive experience that I think is worth to share it’s based in the capacity of this monitor to deliver a complete and quality image, with independence of the angle of the viewer and with independence of the environmental light in the room. This is important for me that I do some work from my house office where this piece of equipment has now a center role.

Monitor w qwqs s supper easy to set up, it's plug n play, and the picture quality is spot on. I didn't even jave to make any picture adjustments as I have with other monitors in the past. Has a good solid feel and looks sleek and modern. I love that it has two HDMI connections. Would definitely recommed a pair of these for your main monitors.

I am using this monitor as a second monitor for my gaming computer. Both of the monitors are Free Sync and it is awesome to have them side by side. Very attractive, so sleek it almost seems fragile, but have no complaints at all. I highly recommend.

Review for HP - 25f 25" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor - Natural Silver This is a really elegant monitor for the price! The colors are great and the design is top notch. If you want to use this monitor for everyday, computer use, it’s perfect. The light bleed at the edges make it less perfect for watching movies, games, etc. I’m using it for video editing and it looks great! The packaging is well done and the assembly instructions are straight forward. It’s simple to assemble and have up and running in no time. Settings for movies, photos, low blue light, nighttime, etc. are all easy to toggle using the buttons along the lower edge. A great monitor for a great price!

This monitor was easy to set up straight out of the box. I connected using a HDMI cable. The display is nice and crisp! Highly recommend!

Went to my local Bestbuy to purchase a 24-27 inch monitor and walk up to a display of various models and brands. This Monitor simply jumped out from the bunch. Without question this monitor had the best picture and was the cheapest. I had just purchased a Dell Gaming monitor and i will simply say the grey/black sucks. The HP has deep blacks

When it comes to monitors i enjoy 2 things. Is it sturdy? and does it put out a bright vivid picture? This monitor checks both of those boxes. As i was opening the box i was also suprised how light weight it was, yet strongly built. Setting up was also a breeze as it had HDMI and other input options. Worth the buy, solid bright vivid picture

I liked everything about this monitor but I hate the stand. It doesn't use the stand mount either. The picture quality is really good.

This monitor has very good quality and refresh rate and stuff like that. My main concerns is that it was $180 and the best buy and this monitor comes with no speakers and on top of that it messed all the resolutions on the games i play and every time i set it back it does nothing, reminder this monitor is the same size as my old one. Also there was a gaming one i considered buying that was $200 but the workers insisted this one was better and only told me the good things about, not telling it comes with no speakers and it would mess my computer up

When I saw this monitor on display at Best Buy I mistook it for a QHD or UHD monitor until I got closer and realized it was a 1080p. Easily the best looking 1080p monitor at the sale price of $130. The light bleed that people are complaining about can be unnoticed by lowering the brightness. It comes with 300nits which is plenty.

I purchased this monitor the other day to use with my late 2012 Mac mini and I must say that I love it. I also use it as a second screen with my 2015 MacBook Pro. The colors are very vivid and it just overall looks great. I would highly recommend to anyone. I am considering on buying a second one!!

am writing this review after 3 years of use. Purchased this for under $150 and its a work horse. still strong, hope hp brings back this size to complement my 2 monitor setup

I do not normally like HP products. But monitors are exception. I have had two 27 inch for last 2 years and they were great. 25 inch is better size so I got this one. This is so cool. 27 inch are way too wide for normal use.

Display is incredible. I wish my 50" TV was as crisp and clear as this monitor.

Image quality is pretty decent and there is no ghosting.

So I wanted to love this monitor, and to some degree I do. The 75hz refresh rate, 5ms response time, and oh my lord the colors are amazing! The colors are great without being oversaturated and 'fake' looking like some OLED screens can be sometimes. However where the monitor fails horribly is the light bleed from the edges and corners on dark screens. I wanted this monitor so bad, I wanted to love it. but I exchanged it THREE times and finally returned the last one. That means I went through four of these monitors and all had bad light bleed. The bottom left hand corner was the worst in all but the bottom two corners bleed so much light that any blacks from bottom towards center look gray. However if youre on a bright screen with colors the monitor isn't so bad. But if you decide to watch a movie with a lot of dark scenes, or the black bars on the top and bottom, youre gonna see nothing but light bleed. Otherwise it looks horrible. Choose a different monitor.

Heard good reviews from the salesman so decided to give it a shot. Really sharp looking monitor but that was about it. Colors were not very vibrant and the blacks were more gray. The reason I returned it was because of light bleeding on all 4 corners, very noticeable when watching Netflix with the black bars on the top and bottom. Tried calibrating the monitor but didn’t work. Return it for a different one and had the same issue, Not as bad as the first one but still very noticeable. Ended up returning it again but got a different model which worked perfect.

I like this monitor a lot. It may not be "gamer" rated. But it is bright and clear
