Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the excellent picture quality and smooth refresh rate, making it ideal for gaming. Many appreciate the monitor's affordability and ease of setup. However, some users wish it included speakers, and a few have noted issues with viewing angles and the LED indicator light. The absence of built-in speakers is a recurring negative comment.

It works okay with the RTX 2070 graphics card. I still see obvious pixilation. I bummed up to 240Hz with a different monitor and it's much better.

I bought this monitor because of the freesync ability. The display i s gorgeous, the response time is great, and the refresh rate is awesome. I used it for 4 months and loved it. Howver, now my displayport has totally gone out on the monitor so I can't even use it for the reason that I bought it. Next time I'll buy an AOC instead

So yeah picture is nice but cheap and nothing but issues. Display Port hasnt worked since purchase and monitor randomly powers off then on. I work in tech and build computers, I would not put this monitor with another of my customers builds again as many of them have had the same issues.

Recieved monitor in May, was running well, but now after 3 months it has started to already lose its pictuales. Would not think a mid level monitor would do that after 3 months. Will not purchase again.

The HP 25X Monitor was tested with the HP - Pavilion Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 5-Series - 8GB Memory - AMD Radeon RX 580 - 1TB Hard Drive + 128GB Solid State Drive. I am fortunate to be able to be able to review these together. Let’s get a few things out of the way. This monitor has HDMA and Display Port connections that match the computer I am testing it with. So I am testing it with a Display Port cable that supports 3840x2160 4k UHD quality content. The Graphics RX580 is smooth running, not loud at all!!! was tested on Call of Duty Black Ops 4 (shhh my wife doesn't know) and was synched up to an HP 25X Gaming monitor and wow was I impressed. These 2 devices work so well together. The video clarity, with 144Hz with AMD Free Sync, is just amazing. I would definitely recommend this to all my gaming friends & family. This outfit is well worth every penny. For less than a grand, you can have a beast and gamers go to best buddy the Ryzen 5. Without hesitation I would recommend both these items they are aesthetically meant to be together and the tech is bar none some of the best in the industry.

The monitor is absolutely beautiful looking and the functionality is great. The only problem is when I turn on the monitor, there is already damage! Dead pixels ruined the experience.

    Excellent gaming monitor

First off, out of the box, everything is very well packed, and comes with a 6' HDMI cable, the power cable, and warranty book. The pedestal plate for the stand is the only thing you have to put together, but the stand arm is already connected to the monitor. One of the first cool things about this monitor is its swivel and height adjustment features. It is seamless and easy to adjust. It has a 90 degree vertical swivel but only rotates in one direction. When powering on, you get some cool green ambient lighting at the bottom of the monitor, which is adjustable through the menu in the power options. The menu offers a lot of options to change and also shows display info from your connected device like display size and hertz the monitor is currently running at. When plugging in a device, it is important to note, that a display port cable is needed if wanting to run Freesync for gaming. You can pick one up for around $20 for a 6' cable, but it is important that your computer is compatible with Freesync before you consider this monitor, as it is the majority basis for choosing this over other monitors. The HDMI port only supports 1080P, and you must use the display port for 4k gaming. Gaming is smooth and fluid and is a major difference between my 40" 4k TV I normally use as a computer monitor. This is quite the optimal monitor to use as long as you have Freesync on your computer and the display port cable to go with it. I don't have any gripes with this monitor. Would very much recommend
