I have never gamed on a monitor before and just wanted one as my son watches tv. I am a console gamer and so far I’ve owned this for 3 days and it works great I’ve played overwatch and Pubg on it so far so good!

Switched to this from a 720p TV I was using for gaming. It's a great monitor and the refresh rate is amazing. Everything is crystal clear and I didn't have a single dead pixel.

Bought this monitor today. Upon setting it up I found a dead pixel in the center of screen. Was bummed about it so I called HP support to try to resolve issue. HP said I can replace monitor for a new one free of charge at a Best Buy store. Hopefully they will stick to their word. Will update review later. Besides that, it is a great monitor and very smooth at 144 hz and amazing thin bezels. Color accuracy is okay at factory setting but can easily be tweaked through monitor settings and is friendly.

Great monitor has 144hz and 1ms pair up great with my pc. Everything is just soooo smooth must buy!!!!

The PC monitor has a sleek and modern design with a clear and crisp display. The colors are vibrant and the viewing angles are excellent. Overall, it is a great monitor for everyday use.

Easy to install and set up. Great screen quality. I used it for gaming and recording and the quality is amazing. I definitely recommend this product for those interested in a new monitor.

I bought this monitor for the specifications. It was to be a gaming monitor for my XBox One. On paper, the monitor sounded great! 1ms, 1080p, etc etc etc. I expected it to be a great purchase and a 1ms 144hz 1080p at this price point sounded like a good deal. I got it home and after about an hour adjusting the many settings, I could not get a good quality display. I calibrated it to the XBox, I tried all different presettings, adjusted everything I could but I could not get the graininess to go away. I was trying this against a 4ms 60hz Samsung. I will be returning the HP and sticking with the Samsung. Hopefully if I decide to go another route (probably Asus or Acer) it wont let me down. Im sure most people will buy this for a PC and while I can't speak to that, if you're buying it for an XBox, find something else.

I purchased two of these monitors, and was a big fan of them at first. One of the monitors is having an issue where the backlighting in the display, or panel itself intermittently goes black and comes back on. The monitor itself never disconnects from my computer and it is only one of them that does it. Have swapped ports and cables and it still does it. I tried contacting HP support and after a 2 hour chat still no help. At first it was because I was using a custom built PC, and then it was a problem in the system registry that they were willing to upsell me support to have it looked at. In the end I could ship it back to them and they would check it out and repair or replace if needed with a 9-10 business day turn around, when even their own site says 5 days when I looked up my serial number. Again for an upcharge they would expedite to a 3-4 day turn around. Unfortunately I am 6 days outside of my return period and at the mercy of a larger company who is being less than helpful unless they get more money. 1 star rating is based off of one of the two monitors going bad in less than a month, and terrible customer service.

okay i sound stupid but for the life of me i can not figure out how to connect my ps4 to this monitor is it even possible??? i’ve changed every single setting i can think of on the monitor i’ve factory reset it, i’ve changed the resolution and color on my ps4, i’ve done everything i can think of besides buying a display port which wouldn’t even work because the ps4 is hdmi only. Please if anyone can guide me through connecting my ps4 to this monitor it would be greatly appreciated!!!!

After two months the monitors backlighting failed and under high load the screen would go black for 2-5 seconds before coming back on.

Works great but sometimes doesnt register input due to loose hdmi

Monitor Does not allow me to run 120hz on PS5 stay away from this monitor.

I tested so many time I can not hear any sound!!!!!!!
