Purchased this as a secondary monitor. I had the 27e before. Slightly different height than the E version but same quality. Very nice to have dual 27” monitors to multitask.

I've been a Mac user since 1989. I've seen and owned them all. I was contemplating upgrading a MacBookAir and almost bought the 15" a couple of weeks back but something just made me say no. I am SOOOO glad I waited. I don't know which machine I love better this or my 27" iMac. It's a close race but as a freelancer, I want to be mobile so this just may become my number one! We're going to start hitting the road!

I've always thought highly of HP but this experience has been awful. I'm usually reluctant to leave such poor reviews, but we've given HP MANY chances to help remedy. If the monitor worked as it's supposed to, it would be great value, good form/size, pretty crisp display, and priced well. But unfortunately (and of course just after Best Buy return period), the monitor started getting a pink hue after a few minutes of each use (and this a light use monitor overall). After a little time it got worse, whereas after about 5-10 minutes, the whole screen would be pink (as if you turned down the opacity and allowed only pink). We thought - ok well at least it's under warranty. So we've spent countless hours on the phone walking HP support through the issue, all the usual troubleshooting (multiple times, replace HDMI cables, etc. etc.), getting disconnected and having to re-explain, and so on. Finally we got an empty box sent to us (took about 2 weeks to arrive). Sent the monitor back (so no monitor during this time). The supposed "replacement" shipped back surprisingly quick BUT....same issue (**deep sigh**). Again many phone calls, through various levels of support, being told they accidentally shipped same monitor back, but then realizing not so, etc. etc. I'm not exaggerating when I say several HOURS spent on the phone, needing to be called back multiple times, etc. So here we are, July 8th, first call to tech support was beginning of May. And we have yet another empty box to send the second monitor back (again), and be without a monitor (again). And hope that the next "new one" won't have the same issue (again). It feels like HP has done everything in their power to make sure I won't buy from them again. And I pride myself of being patient in dealing with Support, they didn't build the monitor. But so many ways this could've been handled better. And STILL not resolved after 2 months! I would've expected this experience from some off-brand cheap-o monitor, but had always thought better of HP (maybe naively). I'm sure my SO will continue the process even if next replacement doesn't work, simply on principal. But I've reached the point where I'll pay anything to not have to call HP ever again.

Worth the price. Very slick design. Loved it. Would always recommend this.
