I hesitated last time these went on sale so I promised myself I would get two if I saw them on sale again. They went on sale and here we are... I love these monitors! The extra real estate as well as the ability to hook up multiple video sources was a real bonus. Used these for work, for games, and for video conferencing and am very pleased. 27" is a welcome change. Seriously recommended.

Over time, I've found working on my laptop with its smaller screen to be more frustrating. I've watched my co-workers install separate monitors. As a longtime HP user, I purchased the 27" monitor and installed it in my office. I was able to put it at comfortable distance from my chair to balance the larger screen with avoidance of feeling overwhelmed by the size of the display.

This monitor is impressive with a very thin, light weight design and stellar graphics performance that is plug and play. Out of the box, it took less than 5 minutes to be up and running. I assembled the base to the arm and arm to the monitor. With the screw tab, you don't even need any tools for assembly. The monitor is super thin, so the only limiting factor in desk placement is the base. On the back are 2 x HDMI and 1 VGA port, with the 5 physical buttons along the bottom of the monitor. The buttons and stand are the only two issues I have with this monitor. I find that on a standing desk, the monitor has some wobble if I bump the table, slightly more than my monitors with solid base stands. The other downside to the design is that the buttons are not labeled, so I usually spend a few minutes pushing things until I get to the function I wanted. However, those are the only 2 issues I've found and the performance far outweighs the physical design quirks. The monitor settings allow for me to select low blue light, night, reading, gaming, movie, photo, custom, and HP Enhance settings. I can tell a visible difference between the settings, and love the flexibility to use this monitor for gaming and working. Using this with an HP laptop, I used the HP Display port to HDMI converter for best resolution since my HP doesn't have an HDMI port. Overall I found the graphics to be nothing less than stellar and met my expectations for a 1080p resolution. So far I haven't found anything that this monitor doesn't do well.
