    I bought this for my Father for Christmas. He set it up himself and wasn't happy with it. I went by to check it out and noticed 2 led lights where out. I returned and the 2nd one worked fine.

    This is a replacement for a 23" monitor. Love this big and bright 27" screen! The control buttons are hidden beneath the bottom edge of the frame to make adjustments.

    After having this monitor for a year I feel that I've had enough time to provide a genuinely helpful review. To begin, the monitor is very bright and provides a clear 1080p image at a nice 75hz. It's been a joy to use for work and entertainment purposes and is a great purchase at the sale price of $139.99. Over the course of the year of moderate usage the corners of the monitor are beginning to become increasingly brighter and diffuse into the center of the screen. This defect is magnified when viewing a dark image and it's extremely disappointing given the age and price of the monitor.

    My son uses this monitor for gaming and he seems to think its ok for that. I'm not a huge gamer myself so I'm not real sure what difference a monitor would make anyways...
