I’ve had this monitor for 5 years now and it’s still going strong!!

Purchase in 2019, after 5 years still going. Great monitor.

Beautiful screen, bright/colorful/clear/big. Nice upgrade over an old Hans G monitor. Appreciate the Free Sync tech. No negatives about the monitor thus far, but as usual going into a Best Buy store and speaking to a couple of reps is always a zero customer service experience. The price on this monitor was the only reason I braved the "Best Buy Experience".

My company is moving next month and the commute will be long so I needed a large monitor for my laptop for my spreadsheets so I can work at home at times. This one was on sale for $100 off! So glad that I bought this. I have two 24" monitors at and this larger one is better than that. My son loves it too as he play PS4 games on it with his friends when I want to watch the main tv. It has several screen modes.

Great monitor for office/work. Never had an eyestrain.

I was shocked when I ask the price of this monitor and when I was told $139.00. It was a done deal. I purchased two of them and Googled how to set up two monitors and here I am. This setup is not gaming related just for design purposes. For the price (even at regular price), these monitors are great. I have no complaints in my short time with them.

Lengthy review, but if you are serious about a monitor, you will find this helpful. I hope! Have a section below for gamers, since i bought this, for this reason. and the $$ First off, out of the box was great. looked sleek. Easy connection for both my latop and desktop. Picture quality vast improvment over my 1080p naturally. You must have a freesync compatible graphics card to use freesync (it makes a huge difference. go into detail below) HP Enhance was nice, it added some really good detail to the game, but pixels kind of "bled" through when i would play my games on the high setting. I recomend if you game with this setting, use medium :) Overall this is a great monitor with different settings, for overall home use its more than a fine monitor **GAMERS** I originally bought this monitor for the freesync for the full screen resolution buff. I played on a Geforce 950 8gb (non compatible with freesync) before my new build came in. Could definitely tell a difference in quality over my viewsonic 1080p New build with freesync graphic card. MSI RX 570 8gb oc WOW! This LOOKS GREAT!! The HDR and Freesync made my game look AMAZING. Tested it on the same settings using Overwatch. Great imporvement. Epic mode. YOU CAN SEEN SO MUCH DETAIL. If youre a gamer and HAVE FREESYNC and a budget. this monitor will due you just fine :) otherwise refer above to my reference to gaming with the HP Enhance setting There are better monitors with freesync that are in the 2k and 4k resolutions, or ones with higher FPS.

Just got it few hours ago. Turned it on and it works as expected, meaning you get what you paid for. Below is the pro/cons and comparison to MSI Optix MAG271R. Pros: - 27" monitor for 109.99+tax is a great buy nowadays. Last year in 2019 around the same time, it was like $100 or so but I guess it went up 10 bucks. - good for online mtg - good for document viewing = get two documents side by side with good views. Cons: For the price, you can't complain, but if I shall say, - black color is grayish compared to MAG271R. - blurry compared to MAG271R if you see some fast action movies 5ms(HP 27f) compared to 1ms(MSI Optix MAG271R) is what you get, but you won't notice if not side by side. - input is 2x hdmi and 1x vga. - no DP input, no DVI (digital) input. - monitor stand is very clumsy and wobbly. Kinda like the bobblehead's "head" if you poke it. - (optional) switches below the monitor - no vesa interface, so no vesa monitor stand can be used. - monitor can tilt back and forth but not sideways. - no 90 degree tilt. - no up and down to change height of monitor. yes, a lot of cons but if you don't care about the cons above, its for you.

Good monitor all around, no flaws and nothing great about. Just a good monitor

This monitor works very well on it's own, I've used it for over 2 years so far without any problems. It has fantastic color, decent brightness, and impressively small bezels. However, I recently upgraded to another monitor and am now using the HP 27f as a second monitor, which has brought about some issues. The stand it sits on may look pretty but is an absolute waste of space and has NO adjustments at all. It crowds my pretty large 55 inch desk and can get it the way of my keyboard sometimes. An even larger problem is its lack of VESA compatibility. It will not be mountable on any simple VESA mount, and don't even think about a VESA adapter because the monitor is too slim to fit in most of them. This combined with the lack of height adjustment means you can't put anything (speakers, cosmetics, or other accessories) under the monitor and a lot of space is wasted. Please buy this monitor if you plan to ONLY use it on its own, and please consider the pretty elevated price for a monitor this spec considering it lacks basic adjustments and mounting like any 1080p 60fps monitor should

This screen works great - I mainly use it for work but also some light gaming and I have loved it!

Bought the monitor for work use and I'm surprised at how well the quality is so far. No complaints from me yet. I've had this for about a month now.

Picked it up to improve the work space during the pandemic. Wonderful picture quality and refresh rate for doing office work.

I have been looking for a new monitor for my Mac Mini, and had originally purchased a 24" LG. Nice monitor, but just a little bit too small. Saw this one for $130 on Labor Day, and I couldn't be more pleased. I don't need the whistles and bells that some other monitors offer, and i wasn't interested in spending extra $$ to get them. Small bezel design looks great and takes up little of the real estate on my small desk. Sharp, bright and easy to set up. I'm still kind of amazed that you can buy such a nice monitor on a beer budget!

I'm very happy with the monitor as well as the salesperson who helped with its selection. However, like so many tech products today, there was virtually no documentation included in the box, and also as usual, the HP website was nearly useless. I had problems with the 27f flickering to black randomly. Given there is virtually no documentation in the box, I was left to search the internet. This led me to discover the automatic setting for the NVidia video card are not correct. Go to NVidia control panel, go to "Adjust Desktop Color Settings" and change "Content type reported to the display" to either "Desktop Programs" or "Full screen videos". If that setting is on "Auto-Select (Recommended)" the display blinks off randomly. Also reset resolution to the manual 1080 setting (not default) and then select 75Mhz refresh. Problem solved.

Very simple to set up and crystal clear. We use it connected to our laptop and it works great.

This display as far as appearance looks great. The design is very basic but sleek and very clean. However, their were some flaws on this display. As a photographer this display was gonna be used as a secondary screen for other apps. The first screen I bought had a dead pixel. Even though it was one pixel it was noticeable. So I exchanged it. Upon setting up the second display I notice some light bleeding. However, its decent display if you can't notice these issues.

Monitor is light and super quick to put together. It was my favorite ne abuse of this. The only issue I had is that the screen would go out every six months. However, since I purchase the warranty that doesn’t stop me from getting another one bc this is still a great monitor while working. Perfect size, picture, and price.
