You need to hit the keys harder than usual, otherwise, it will not work. Mainly the number keys. The mouse works well though.

The space bar is very loud. Keys did not actually work every time. Very cheaply made. I returned it and got a Logitech.

What more can I say, than the above summary. Without saying it, salesman seemed to be aware of problems when I went to look at another brand.

Need to hit the "A"-key hard, otherwise it does not register. Example, "Maker" become "Mker".

Not sure what's up with the keyboard. One day number keys won't work. Next day enter key won't work.

You get what you pay for...it's cheap. The keys are not easy to use. They are loud and take effort to press.

The Keys were too hard to press and the space bar was not working. I had to return it immediately.

mouse doesnt track and will not scroll up and down with wheel. do not recommend

The key broke in the first week the buttons stop working

no light keys i.e, the cap locks or num lock key doesn't indicate when on....not the best feature.

This was a very cheap keyboard and mouse set and I wish I returned it.

Eats through batteries, up arrow button didn't work. Played along for a few weeks and then trashed it.

So my 8 year old Logitech wireless kb/mouse combo reached it's lifespan and I needed to replace it quickly and on a budget. I'd give this setup a 5 for price. Performance and connectivity for me are the shortcomings of this combo which is why I give it a 3 overall. The mouse connection is good but the kb is sketchy and slow - seems like the mouse needs to be active for the kb to work - ie; watching a movie using VLC you should be able to use the kb commands to pause, raise/lower volume etc and this does work, but not all the time. I find I have to activate or move the mouse before the kb functions. My old Logitech didn't do this - I NEVER turned off that kb for 8 yrs, never had to replace a battery, never had to remove/replace the pairing usb to reset. This HP setup just doesn't hold it's connection. The mouse is not precise. You will labor to cut and paste - I've tweaked the settings but it's still pretty sloppy. If you wanted this for casual use you can't go wrong for the price. But if you are like me and use a PC for your media center and park you butt in a lounger and use the kb/mouse for controls I'd recommend looking at something better than the HP.
