USB ports and card slots are on top of the tower about three inches from the front of the machine. The power switch is on the top right front corner. Not convenient for my desk configuration. Needed a pin monitor adaptor to plug in my old but working monitor.

Having found a need for a second computer, I went back looking for the same model ... and found that over the past year the configuration has been slightly altered; this one came with two internal (one standard & one solid state) SATA drives, with some motherboard (& BIOS) changes - this one has one micro-USB where the older one had two USB2 ports (on top). While the final sum comes out "improved", I still feel like I should have paid more attention to the fine print when making this purchase.

Form factor is a little large but the comp is pretty fast and setup is fast.

The speed is superior to our standard lab top computer and the memory is more than we need but the speed is great!

My computer crashed & died. I have a ton of info on it and guess I'm going to lose all of it. This new HP Envy desktop is pretty compact and seems to be really fast for what I do with it. Hate to have to keep buying new software though, each time I get a new computer. Microsoft makes sure you have to buy software, if you want to do pretty much anything, which isn't right. Still think BEST BUY is the best place to purchase tech stuff, because of their support and help, when needed.

I am a senior citizen who is not very computer savvy. I was able to set the computer up myself and learn its operation in a very short time. My old computer had Microsoft Vista and was very outdated. It took a while to learn all the new ways of doing things with all the new programs, but the upgrade was really worth it. I am enjoying using my computer to keep in touch with friends, stay updated on the latest news and plan vacations and make purchases.
