It's an okay computer. Not really worth the high asking price. It has an SSD internal main drive which has windows 10 installed on it. The SSD drive capacity is only 128gb. Windows 10 takes up about half of the capacity of the SSD The D, or DATA drive is a 1 TB mechanical hard drive. You have to constantly move files and programs from C drive to D drive to avoid filling up the SSD. The optical drive is a lap top drive. Very cheap and fragile. Since it is mounted in a frame that is rivited into the main cabinet, you can't install a better optical drive. Besides, the front cover of the case has no provision for one. On the good side, it has 12gb of ram and it is a very fast booting and fast processing machine. I wish I had taken more time in the store to explore it more before buying this machine. My bad!

My old PC was very sluggish. Even after defragging, etc. it worked like an old farm horse. I am able to do multiple activities on my new desktop with the Intel Core i5 as recommended by the Microsoft Rep. Great desktop for a small business.

Had to upgrade my last computer due to some hardware issues. I liked the performance of my last computer and so far this computer works as well as the last one. I just hope it gets more than 2 yrs of use before something goes wrong.

Needed to upgrade my computer and HP Envy was a nice fit. Had all the things I wanted in a windows format with memory, etc. Was able to connect to my monitor that was fine. Nice that it came with a wireless mouse and a small keyboard.

My old computer was 5 years old. It was time for an upgrade. I only purchase hp and had very good luck with them. This computer is just perfect for me. I take a lot of pictures and the storage is plenty. All in all it is running great so far.

Use for working with Quickbooks and photos a lot. The speed is great and based on the internet you have at home, works great with online software. Have not tried any gaming yet, but want to see how it will work compared to the I-7

This is my fourth computer, but my first HP. Everything seems to be working well. It is very quiet and I am pleased with it so far. A member of the Geek Squad installed it for me and he was truly excellent, making sure that I was satisfied.

Bought this tower after my hard drive crashed. I wanted to upgrade to a solid state drive to lessen the chances of another crash. Reboot time is very fast, I use Lightroom 5 which is a memory hog and the 12 gigs of ram makes it smooth

This computer is perfect for someone who wants a fast, modern computer but doesn't need "gamer" type specs. It does absolutely everything I need it to do quickly, and it boots up from start in record time. Awesome hardware for the price.

Also bought a printer and it works great. Processing time is fast

This is a great PC. Expandable compartments and great specs. This one is the i5 since the i7 was a couple of hundred more and I did not really see any speed difference when compared side by side. Love the sleek and clean design also.

Still learning how to navigate windows 10. Will be happy when I can import my favorites from IE.

I have purchased several of these towers and they all work amazing. They are super fast with the built in SSD put tons of storage space for whatever you need. Looking forward to buying these for family in the future.

Seems to be very fast, 12 Ram, start up and shut down very fast. I have had a problem with the HP printer driver not wanting to load on my new computer; not sure if is a computer problem; old computer printed fine with the printer.

I bought the computer as open box, so far it's working great.

So glad to go back to a desktop computer from a laptop! Back to having a computer be helpful not super slow! This was up and running in no time at all and will be happy with its performance for a long time to come.

We needed a second desktop for our home office and so far so good. Only had it a couple of weeks no issues other than software and Geek to care of that for me. Highly recommend that you get the logitech wave wireless keyboard and mouse as well. Makes it all great.
