Weird concept

What happened to just buying a cartridge when you need it? I don’t print thing often and still have the ink from when I bought it but HP has charged me for I don’t even know what. The ink is great, but the forced subscription is not.

As we just obtained this printer for home use, not sure how well it will all work out. Pricing depends on how many pages you print each month, something we have never tracked before. In summary, I like the concept but need more time to see how well it works for my small household - myself and wife, offspring sometimes print when they are visiting.
