    Salesman mentioned this to us when we bought our HP printer. We bought the 100 sheet a month plan. About two weeks after activating the card, our first cartridges arrived. It's nice to have the spares sitting around so when we run out of ink, we don't have to run to the store to get more.

    Why this wasn't introduced years ago I don't know. Your machine tells HP when it needs new ink and it shows up in your mailbox, you don't have to do anything. Extremely cost-saving and you don't have to shop around for the best price on ink or settle for low quality ink with another manufacturer. It's the best thing I've discovered for my office since Post-its.

    I have been an HP instant ink subscriber for more than a year and I am happy with this membership. The instant ink prepaid card is very easy to use. I once had an issue with one of the cards but it was easily resolved by their customer service team.
