It's the worst investment I could have ever made paying 5.99 a month receiving very few ink cartridges certainly doesn't save me any money I canceled the plan and now the ink that's left in the printer does not work now, and they somehow disconnected me from my wireless service so now I've got to spend time calling them trying to figure out how to get things back connected on my wireless end. I will never do instant ink with HP again ever never ever. Don't get cartridged..listen to Shaquille O'Neal

This is the worst subscription deal that I have every made. I don't know how I came to owe money on this thing. One thing good about it is the fact that it is easy to cancel on their site. If you cancel the subcription, they can disable your printer remotely. I am going to every site I can to warn people not to use this "service". Here is a portion of my cancelation notice. "Have store-bought HP Original cartridges ready to install. You can continue using the subscription cartridge until May 10, 2023, however it will not function in your printer once your subscription is cancelled, even if it is already in your printer."

printer ink is so expensive. this program keeps me supplied with ink for what seems to be a reasonable cost

We dont print alot, as a result the cardridges go bad. This program is way cheaper for us. Highly recommend.

I had no intent to enroll to the Instant Ink program from the very beginning when the printer was given to me as a gift. I became even more convinced to skip this free trialed Instant Ink because HP sent me intimidating messages that I won’t be able to use my cartridges unless I give them my credit card credentials “for easy future charging”. I do not need that someone will be able to “easily charge my CC”. This push from HP to get credit card number from me ruined all good feelings about HP and I am planning to toss their printer and buy a non- HP machine.

At first, we were unsure if we had made the right decision; however, we can truly say that our expense for ink has gone down versus our previous printer. One disadvantage is that we now need to be more judicious about what we print, but on the other hand, there is less printing of documents that we really don't need.

I have not use another brand. That is why, I don't know if every ink dies quickly as HP. I have to spend a lot of money for ink.

As a photographer this ink plan is prefect for me because it counts by the page not amount of ink

Pay even less for ink and have it sent to your door before you ever run out.

I have never liked buying ink at the store. So many choices and numbers to pick from. Then, half the time, they wouldn't have my ink! This is a great program, the printer tells itself when to order more ink and it does it! The ink arrives at your door. No troubles trying to remember what ink you need.

Easy way of saving money and getting ink without doing anything. Highly recommend!

If you print a lot or a little, this might be better than plunking down a huge sum for cartridges everytime. They only send out when you need one, and it's basically a monthly subscription based on usage. Pretty simple.

A cheap alternative to buying ink. Especially if you print a lot of pictures.

I signed up for HPs Instant Ink program and was very hopeful that I would be able to use their recycled cartridges and their automatic replacement service. Sounded great, right? Wrong! In my first shipment of ink, first the Magenta cartridge failed (after about a week of use and about 80% of the ink left). Then, two days later, the black ink failed, also with about 80% of the ink left in it. Bad cartridges. Sounds good - but don't do it!!

I have always looked for discounts on ink prices when needing new ink. This is a way to save money and is based on your regular usage. It is mailed to the home, but does require mailing used cartridges back which means dropping off in large mailbox. Overall, I think this is a good plan and reduces ink that is kept on hand and saves time.
