it saves a lot of money as compared to buying ink. hip ships ink even before you need it. its so convenient and money saving

This is a good program and i'll be using my printer more often because of it. I'll never run out of ink, and the cost will be a lot less

While purchasing HP Envy 4520 at Best Buy the salesperson suggested that we look into the deal that was offer with the instant ink. He explain the benefit of instant ink and cost of monthly or purchasing as needed. The monthly cost was a better deal and they do all the wk for you. Buy as needed can cost more over the year as u use more. You do have to activate the card with instant ink to receive the awesome deal.

Purchased an ink replacement plan from HP with the 8710 printer. Good value for the money and very convenient. Ink is delivered through the mail. HP can track ink usage and send replacement cartridges before current cartridges expire. You don’t have to run around looking for replacement ink. Saves time and money.

I was skeptical on buying into the instant ink. I have already received 2 shipments of ink in the past month. First was the initial ink purchase and second I received a color cartridge only. It's very nice that I receive ink BEFORE I run out. I don't have to run out and buy when I run out and don't have to try and remember what the cartridge numbers are. We'll see how it pans out after a year. But I love it so far!

I signed up and I love it. It is very convenient. I got the 100 pages/month and it fits very well my needs. That costs me about $60/year, and O don't need to worry about finding cartridges or getting out of it. I would have spent more if I had to purchase ink myself.

I am so glad we opted for this service. Between my reports and the kids projects we never know when we will run out of ink. With other printers I would find myself out late at night paying much more than I should have for ink because I needed the ink right then. Now I have no worries about running out and I will be spending much less. We have already received replacements and they arrived without a problem.

I guess this program is really good, we already received our first shipment few days before we needed to replace our black ink cartridge. This is pretty easy and convenient, no need to worry to make a trip to get your cartridge when you have run out of ink... Great feature and economical too!!!

You'll never find another ink plan at these monthly fees anywhere! I purchased the $9.99 for 300 sheets of paper monthly plan and I have saved tremendous amounts of money on ink. The pages also rollover too! When the ink is beginning to run low, more ink is sent automatically! The online connection on the printer sends the information without any interaction with you. You can't go wrong with the Instant Ink plan.

I have always hated buying ink. It is expensive and, unless you stock up (bad idea if printer dies) it feels as if the ink runs out at the most inopportune time. Now, I do not concern myself. Ink is delivered before it runs out and, for under ten dollars, I can print out three hundred pages a month! There are different prices all the way down to under three dollars for fifty pages a month. Color or black and white, text or a picture, one page is one page and no worries about the ink. What a great idea!

The salesman did a good job of explaining this program to me and my wife. It did not take much to convince us to give this a try. The wireless printer and the special ink cartridges communicate with HP about the number of pages printed. Then, HP sends more ink based on your use. One year's worth of ink (based on your estimated use) is much cheaper than any ink bought at a retail store. HP is trying to encourage customers to print more. This new approach (with proper marketing) should accomplish that. `

I think this is an excellent program, and it's very simple to use. I was a bit hesitant at first, as I am always wary of recurring monthly fees, but this is well worth it. The cost of ink is a little high, and you're never guaranteed a fresh product when you go to the store. When you purchase at the store, you could be buying inventory that has been sitting there for a couple of months drying out. At $2.99/mo., you're paying $35.88 a year. That's just slightly higher than the cost in the store. But like I said, you get shipped fresh cartridges directly to your house. The program monitors your specific use and is easily adjustable if you need to exceed your initial thought. There's a little quirk with the printer, the HP Envy 5530 Wireless All-In-One. When it went in sleep mode, it disconnect itself from the network and caused a little bit of headache trying to get it back online; it did not matter how close you were to the router. However, what made up for it was the HP customer service. I called them about having to re-setup my Instant Ink due to the first printer being lost, and I got a PERSON. The customer service rep was knowledgable, nice, and helpful. Overall, the printer and Instant Ink are worth the money and convenience.
