This item is mostly for some added convenience I suppose. You can easily just purchase Instant Ink during the printer setup process. One added benefit is that it unlocks a lower level of print pages per month that is free (I think 15 pages a month), that you can't get without the prepaid card.

Timely delivery. You can manage it. Original ink. Easy replacement.

Purchased a new printer to take advantage of this instant ink offer. So far so good I haven't ran out of ink yet and the convenience of knowing I won't was well worth the investment.

Have received but not installed our first Instant Ink cartridges because we are still using the ink that came with the printer. Hopefully, this plan will save us time and $$.

My daughter had 2 printers, neither of which worked, but she found a new one she liked online at Best Buy. I ordered it for her for a Christmas gift, and all we had to do was go to the store and pick it up, along with a bonus package of ink. Now when I visit her at her house, I. too, can print out what i want to see. She's happy and so am I!

This was recommended to us by the sales associate so we decided to try it. We have a college freshman so wasn't sure if it would be worth it. Since we purchased through Best Buy we got a month free. We have already received new ink cartridges and it is nice bot having to remember to order them.

Like this HP option, but I print more than 50 pages a month so the $2.99 program isn't working for me. Will have to re-evaluate after I see what my statistics are once the month is through. Also, would REALLY appreciate it if when printing anything diagnostic related the prints didn't count against your monthly total. If I'm wrong about this, I'd love to know.

I don’t know how I lived with instant ink. So convenient and inexpensive.

I love this feature of HP because now I never have to purchase ink. This is a lot cheaper option for me as I dont print more than 50 pages per month and even if I do, I will not be charged crazy high. This makes my yearly expense on ink to $36 which is lot cheaper than buying inks. Pros 1. Ink comes to your door. 2. Easy setup intruction 3. Auto payment setup 4. Cheap Cons None so far.

It's a gift card, so I can't really be mad. But the Instant Ink system is a weird subscription service where you pay-per-month for a certain number of pages per month. You can't go over without getting charged, and if you go under you'll lose the pages after awhile. Seems like a lot of hassle just to print.

This program is without a doubt one of the best purchases I could ever make when buying a printer. The program allows you to cancel at any time, print as much as you want, and never have to worry about buying ink! What's not to love? I am in the process of starting a new sticker business, and I print a TON of test sheets. This has really helped with the cost of printing! Great Idea

I think this will be a good deal but we're just getting started. Definitely takes the hassle out of getting ink.

The ink isn't expensive, it works, and it's easy to order. Highly recommend :-)

This is the best ink program. We used to always run out of ink at the worst time. Now there is always a replacement ink waiting for us.

Received this product free when I purchased my HP printer but there is no way I would print 300 pages per month since it is a home printer used solely for personal use. I'm not even sure I could use the smallest page per month package so I did not activate. However, this volume of monthly ink usage might make sense for a small business. I suggest "running the numbers" before purchasing.
