Does what it's supposed to, easily and quickly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This HP is simple, easy to set up/operate, prints neatly and quickly and the ink lasts a long time. It's also got a very small footprint. I use it to print shipping labels, small reports and manuscripts so I don't need color ink which makes a laser printer the most economical choice. I did not want the added security risk of printing over the internet for certain confidential documents and this works with a USB connection. I purchased this to replace an Epson inkjet that never really worked right, was difficult to operate and refused to work any time a colored ink ran out even when only printing black (which was often). Works well with both a Mac and Chromebook and has paid for itself in time and ink.

solid, but a little effort needed

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.solid printer, but not truly plug and play...well, if you plug it seems to work out of the box, but to set-up the wireless capability takes more effort...i have not done it yet, but it looks like you have to download drivers or something...not my area of expertise, but the plug wokrs fine also

My color inkjet would not let me print B&W if any of the color cartridges went low. Most of my printing is B&W anyway. Do no hesitate to purchase one of these.
