Have had some printing issues. It is okay printing through wi-fi but a few times when I tried to print directly from my chrome book it would not print. Also sometimes the paper jams or prints 1/2 page over itself, had to print one page at a time

After about 3 weeks, after having printed less than 100 pages, I was printing 4 pages and the printer got really hot, started smoking and saying low toner level.
Unfortunately the return window has expired, so the only option I have is to trash it and buy another printer. Of course it won't be an HP.

Hi, Rob.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer experienced such a dramatic failure. It’s no wonder you’re aggravated and alarmed, considering the device heated up and began to smoke, not to mention that the retailer’s return period has passed. I want to help you resolve this situation, so I’ll direct you to a resource and some information I hope will help you remedy the situation.
I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents can be longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so you can consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: - support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

Poorly designed, doesn’t fully lock in place like front door, etc. IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH APPLE PRODUCTS. Terrible printing quality, and don’t buy this printer, you will waist your money!

Will be selling/returning the printer and buying something else. HP has a great reputation but I don't think I will be buying HP after this. Extremely frustrating to use and I only got it to print once. I also talked with HP support a handful of times and they were not able to help me either.

Cheap printer. Lost my reward money value when I made the return. The ink color was so light and some printed areas were smudged. The printer leaves etching on the paper. Cannot use for any professional purposes. If you care about the quality, don't get the HP laser printers.

This does the job for an inexpensive printer but it seems to have a paper feed issue and usually takes some nurturing and nudging along to feed paper to print.

HP LaserJet Pro M15W ... So, what's not to love

❤ 。◕‿◕。 ☀ ツ Rarely used color inkjet for color printing, so it was no big deal going with a monochrome black-toner laser-based printer. Size was critical, as I travel frequently, and didn't want to schlep a big hulking laser printer along on trips. HP LaserJet Pro M15W is so simple to set up and use. Absolutely no regrets, and no tears shed for the obsolete technology of a bygone era (inkjet-based printers) … No need to do anymore research if you're looking for a small, reliable, and high-quality LaserJet printer. And, 48A toner cartridges are readily available from HP or the aftermarket ink/toner suppliers. Absolutely love the HP LaserJet Pro M15W ❤ ♡ ღ☻ ☺ It Rocks!

I purchased this printer to replace a reliable Brother HL-2140 laser printer that wasn't wireless.
This printer is small, feels \ looks cheap and was unreliable.
The last time I printed with it, it sucked up 8 pieces of paper which caused a printer jam. I am using standard 8.5 x 11 Hammermill paper.

Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer has failed to maintain a reliable wireless connection and inexplicably duplicated pages during some print jobs. It’s no surprise that you’re frustrated after experiencing this without resolution. I want to help you get the device working to your satisfaction, so I’ll direct you to some resources I hope will reach that goal.
First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity and printer-offline difficulties. For the unexplained duplication, on the same page you’ll find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning difficulties. You can find that page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
If any problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

Hey Susan,
I'm so sorry to hear that you weren't able to connect the printer to your Chromebook! As you mentioned, there really shouldn't be any issues, so I regret that you've encountered some.
What I first recommend is downloading the printer's full feature software and proceeding with wireless setup through that. You can find a download here: 123.hp.com/us/en/devices/ljm15w
If that doesn't allow for a successful connection, please contact us for support and we'd be happy to help. You can give us a call at +1 800-474-6836 between the hours of 8 am - 9 pm ET. To expedite the process, you can gather these beforehand: - Model number - Serial number - Your location - Your case number (from prior contact with support)
I hope this helps and again, my sincerest apologies for these initial inconveniences.
