Battery is terrible I don’t know how they get away with saying it last 12 hours. Also whenever it’s under the high load the battery drains because the charger it comes with cannot supply what the computer’s maximum wattage is.

So far it has been an amazing laptop. I did however upgrade my storage to two terabytes of space since the 500gb wasn’t enough

literally no way to control fan curves like you can with the ASUS G15/14 lineup. Just a sloppy manual mode with really high low end RPMs. What does this mean for you? Even when idle, sub 50 celcius, the fan will kick in annoying you. I dont want the fans on when im sub 50 degrees just browsing YouTube. This has been a known issue and HP has yet to make fan curve modifying a thing.

It felt a little cheap for beings over $1500. Returning it.

1 Week in I had a dead pixel across the screen. Two months in I had four additional spots with black lines across the screen.

When I spent over $2k on this gaming laptop, I was expecting a premium experience. Not constant and unpredictable crash and freezes. Playing with games with friends or solo has now become an unpleasant experience for me. HP suggested to get a 32 GB flash drive, a working computer to download the recovery, and then run the recovery? I would now have to back up all my games too right or re-download them? This is a lot of work for a consumer to go through to fix a defective unit. I will be requesting a refund from HP. They lost a costumer.

Black screen that would not boot within 30 Days of purchase. Best Buy wouldn’t do anything because I installed an ssd. Not a thing- like literally (geek squad) wouldn’t offer a tiny bit of help. I had to take out the battery , reseat the ram, and hard reset the bios to get the Pc to function again. For $1800 in less than 30 days that is unacceptable. And to have zero support from the establishment was really disappointing.
