The laptop is excellent but bad delivery. The laptop was not packed in a box to cover that it is an expensive laptop and the driver just dropped it infront of my apartment without knocking. It would have gotten stolen if I was not focusing on my emails and the order status.

I returned it lol. It couldn’t run Vegas pro well. But maybe it was too much for it to handle. It was a great laptop as far as spend for browsing, maybe gaming I didn’t try. Looks good though

To start off, this laptop is great and I recommend that whoever is looking at laptops that are under the 1,500$ range, this is the best. I've had this laptop for a fair amount of days and I would give it 5 stars but I have some minor setbacks that will make this a 4 star. PROS: The built quality is great. The footprint of the laptop even though it is stated to be 16 inches, is impressively perfect to travel with and the width of the laptop is smaller than my 15-inch one which has a full-size Numpad. In the area where the trackpad is located, the whole bottom section is made out of metal and does not get hot when the laptop gets hot. The keyboard has a nice feel and sturdiness to it in my opinion. The display has very nice viewing angles and has an anti-reflective layer which is great when the light is shining on it and it won't hurt your eyes. The brightness of the laptop is also great. There are a total of 3 USB-A ports, a headphone jack, sd card slot, 2 USB-C ports, 1 HDMI port, 1 ethernet port, and the charging port which is located on the back. Although the trackpad is made from plastic, its still very responsive to touch. Playing games on it has been a breeze. (list of games that I have tested) VALORANT, MINECRAFT, and ROBLOX. The overall thermal performance has been great and doesn't sound like it will take off like a jet engine. CONS: When I purchased this laptop, I was surprised that this laptop came with a Bang and Olufsen speaker system and I thought it would sound great... Well, I was shorty proven wrong as I started to listen to music. There is an OMEN audio control app to adjust the equalizer and make it sound more punchy, but I would say the speakers are meh. The battery life depends on how much you make it go through, I am saying this laptop's battery is in the con's section because I feel like it would be better but I am neutral with the battery life. Nor am I happy nor I am upset about it. When I first booted the laptop and finished setting it up. In the beginning, it was acting a little sluggish but turns out you need to update it because when I got my unit, it needed to install roughly about 6-8 things but after that, it worked properly. OVERALL: This HP OMEN is the best bang for the buck. Considering I got mine during its $380 dollar off sale. I was looking at another laptop that was actually cheaper than this laptop but it only had 512GB storage and 8GB of ram. Since BestBuy offered me a laptop that overall had better hardware, better specs, and a nice stealthy look to it. I was a little hesitant to purchase a laptop that had a 3050TI in it, but after testing it for a decent amount of time, I am happy and would recommend having one, but be careful, there are other laptops there that seem to have to good to be true specs but in reality, it's slow and buggy. I am personally going to use this laptop for school, gaming, and possibly travel but I'll keep this at home and take the older one since it's older and kinda messed up. Just be aware that the speakers and battery are mediocre and don't have too high expectations. Hope this helped!

Hated this laptop for gaming had so many issues swapped it out for a msi

Would not recommend any of the HP omen labeled computers or laptops, specifically calling out this one. I am an IT professional I handle computer repairs on a number of laptops at work and then friends and family come to me with fixes needed on their computers. Omen computers all have issues. This one in particular has a flea power issue. If your house is too dusty or work space is too dusty it builds up a static charge faster than most computers. This causes battery faults especially after 2 years (previous versions) When the faults occur it can completely factory reset your computer. As long as you have data backups this won’t hurt, but let’s face it we don’t expect a computer to reset on its own after a year of ownership or in the cases I’ve seen less than 8 weeks, so how many people are good about backing up data. This flea power issue will also result in battery draining quickly when in regular use. Second problem worse than the first is improper wattage. This computer drains energy because it has a large screen, faster processor and a dedicated graphics processor all of which require for more watts than the battery serves up. This computer should have a dual battery not a single battery. Which brings us to the processor itself. This computer often gets the 100% disk use error. It doesn’t matter how much you attempt to manipulate the graphics through the processor it will often get this disk error and there is no real good solution to fix this problem.

Is this gonna sale again this Month? i want to purchase one.
