Motherboard fried about 16 months after purchase! Bad design.

No displayport/g-sync on the usb-c ports?? Max refresh rate at 1440p is 144hz to external monitor (Dell G2724D/165hz). If you plan to use an external gaming monitor, you might want to pass on this model (16-xf0033dx). This BestBuy exclusive is missing some important features.

The motherboard killed itself on day 366 they want 1700 dollars to repair it

So clearly somebody who reviewed this laptop got a defective unit (which is covered under manufacturer’s warranty) and they could’ve had that problem with any laptop, regardless of price. That said, this laptop has the most current generation of Ryzen 9-7940HS Processor, good amount of RAM 16GB, and a super powerful 4070GPU. The Omen Command Center lets me easily overclock CPU and RAM as well as shutdown unnecessary background processes when it’s time for me to play some of my favorite PC games in stunning quality. It has 5-directional airflow and the fastest WiFi6, so I don’t even bother using ethernet. Couldn’t be happier I ignored another reviewer’s misguided expectations when it comes to mass-produced electronics. If I had to make one complaint, its the lack of a 10-key. But that’s not a big deal since I rarely use one anyway. You won’t regret getting this laptop!

I trusted Best Buy just to get a laptop with a broken Ethernet port on arrival!

This is one of the best laptops I’ve ever owned. I was a bit worried that it would just be a waste of money due to its previous poor review. I couldn’t have been more wrong. With this laptop I had the power to play minecwaft with the most realistic of graphics, absolute heavenly graphics… I experienced one minor problem when using those graphics but it has an easy fix to it! After a few seconds of loading in my minecraft world with its heavenly graphics, the laptop began to make a strange noise. Moments later i was met with a beautiful sound of my computers fans sounding like none other than rocket thrusters. I love this sound so it didn’t bother me much, but for those who don’t like it, you could simply buy noise proof headphones, you can still hear it but it’s not loud enough anymore to rupture your eardrums, like I said I like this sensation and the sound so it doesn’t bother me, all in all 4 stars.

Insane performance from a laptop for an even more insane price. Could not be happier!

I use this primarily for gaming and the performance is better than expected. I have not had any noticeable frame rate slowing even in more demanding games

Can run everything on max settings plus can play a ton of games

Good laptop battery dies pretty fast depending on what you run on it

Very happy with purchase. The screen is very easy on the eyes. I believe it incorporates a blue screen technology that reduces blue light without yellowing the screen. Great thinking Hp. Also very impressed with the AMD chip for gaming.

Please explain how you advertise I’ll recieve my product the following day and when I purchase the computer and it finally ships two days later and no time table of when it arrives?

The laptop worked for 3 days then it completly shut itself off. Never turned on again. Stay away from this. Spent 2k on this garbage. Never again
