After doing some research it turns out theres a design flaw in which the part that controls the computer going to sleep is too close to the heat sink. This causes it to overheat and damages the component. This laptop now no longer works

HP Omen 16 suddenly died (not turning on)

Now, I'm locked out of everything and I have an expensive brick that HP won't help me with because I can't get back in to the email I set up on there. My dad had recently died so it took me a bit of time past the bestbuy return window to boit up for the 1st time. FML
