I went to BestBuy and compared this laptop to others which were more expensive. For the money, this laptop s a pretty good value. There certainly are laptops with better fit and finish however you will pay a premium for it and get very similar performance. What you get here for the price is excellent. Also because of the current RAM shortages and pricing this is a good option. I bought 2 of them for my nephews who are entering college in engineering.

Bought this for CAD work and after days of research this was the winner. Highly satisfied with the performance and speed.

Love this gaming laptop, it is everything I wanted and makes gaming fun, fast, and powerful. The only thing is my laptop has been crashing and I've only had it a couple months, so I will be getting that looked at by Geek Squad since I'm not sure if it because it is overheating or what the heck is going on. Hope I can get this crap figured out so it can stop interrupting my schooling and gaming! Also, I have to keep it plugged in when gaming since I game for hours and the battery on this thing doesn't last all that long.

Bit pricy but worth every penny. Only main issue I have is the battery life.

The computer is exactly what we needed for a family member for college.

Have no problem running high demand graphic games on high settings. Most games run max and has decent heat management.

I originally bought this laptop to just play MMOs at friends house so I wouldn’t have to lug around my heavy tower but it’s been more useful then that. I use it in my living room to play my controller supported games as well so I don’t have to be so close my monitor all the time!

Great laptop with very decent performance. Only issue which is given is the battery life. Battery life on a gaming laptop is not that great with battery life lasting a max 2.5hrs a med performance.

I am highly disappointed with this laptop after trying it out. If you are purchasing this specifically to play modern shooter games, look elsewhere. Despite the high-end specs on paper, the graphics card absolutely could not handle demanding titles like Call of Duty or Battlefield. The performance just isn't there for heavy shooter-style games. On top of that, the second you start a match, the fans kick into overdrive and get incredibly loud. To make matters worse, the battery life is horrible. It drains so fast that you’re essentially tethered to a wall outlet at all times. I highly would not recommend this machine if your goal is actual gaming. It completely fails to deliver where it matters most. The laptop was returned to Best Buy the following day.

This is my first gaming laptop, well it’s my first gaming pc. I must say I am impressed with the performance of this HP OMEN. It’s was a heck of a deal so I decided to get it.

Very fast and dependable mid gaming pc. Been playing arc raiders at 100fps smooth performanc.

I'll admit that I'm new to pc gaming. This seemed like a good purchase to get my feet wet. I'm a college student and a gamer, so I needed something that could handle heavy use. This has exceeded that expectation. Not only am I able to run multiple programs at a time with zero issues, but I can also play my favorite games like ARC Raiders on the highest settings with buttery smooth performance. Coming from console, it seems extravagant and excessive and I love every minute of it.

It was outdated but after doing my best its pretty stable now and I’m happy with my purchase and would definitely do it again

It was a great deal. It works very fast and it is great for gaming. Its screen is wide and I feel its design is classy. I loved it.
