A powerful computer

I needed a more powerful CPU and a separate GPU, and this computer has both. It also has enough memory that I don't need to force quit a lot of applications before I can open something new. There are complaints in other reviews about the fan noise. I do hear the fan, but I actually only notice it when the fan turns off. I don't notice at all when the fan turns on. The only two features I wish it had were a touch screen and a thunderbolt port.

Just be aware as needs get heavier battery life will suffer, I long gaming session or rendering job can cut your battery in half.

Great Laptop - Small problem

The biggest problem is that even with browsing the web,the laptop gets hot. Also, the battery is horrendous. It might last 45m - 1hr depending if you use eco mode.

After my time spent defining my needs, the salesman showed me the value and benefit of this computer. After the learning curve has completed, I will be more confident.
