Great Buy

Runs anything I own from Steam, keyboard/mousepad are beautiful and responsive. Screen being 16" worried me, but I have yet had the need to hook to my bigger monitor. Runs silent and does not get very hot.

Just be aware as needs get heavier battery life will suffer, I long gaming session or rendering job can cut your battery in half.

I play the Sims 4 with 40 gb of cc and other games like GTA5 , and Hogwarts Wizarding World, handles the gaming experience well for a laptop, very desktop-like experience ... BUT The battery on this thing ? be ready to stay plugged into a wall forever! will literally die in 90 mins max, on full charge.

Easy to Use for What I Need

The storage is sufficient for gaming, podcast files, and audio recordings from people I have interviewed. The battery life is okay off the charger, but I mostly edit at my desk, anyway, so that was never going to be a deal breaker for me.

A powerful computer

I needed a more powerful CPU and a separate GPU, and this computer has both. It also has enough memory that I don't need to force quit a lot of applications before I can open something new. There are complaints in other reviews about the fan noise. I do hear the fan, but I actually only notice it when the fan turns off. I don't notice at all when the fan turns on. The only two features I wish it had were a touch screen and a thunderbolt port.

Fast, responsive, doesn’t act as a wood burning stove for the entire house. Plus it’s HP and they just last.

New HP Omen Gaming Laptop

It can run 5 dedicated Minecraft Servers, and still going strong. Worth an upgrade from my 8-year-old HP omen 17, can't install Windows 11 on my older laptop.
