Stopped working after 6 months. It is still under warranty so we had to ship it to HP for repairs and the estimated repair time is 8 weeks. When I called HP, I was told the warranty doesn’t cover replacement and they don’t offer loaners for desktops. HP customer service offered to escalate the issue, but I couldn’t speak to anyone right now, someone would have to call me back in 2-3 days. Until it stopped working, no complaints. Just know that HP doesn’t have the best customer service and it should have lasted longer than 6 months.

My son is very happy with the device and is excited

Biggest waste of money. Had just over a year (long enough for manufacturer warranty to expire) and the motherboard went out for no reason. Best Buy charged me $200 to tell me they could help me buy a new computer or build one because this one wasn’t worth fixing.

Its a great pc with everything u would need for gaming

Bought on a whim at the store. It was way overpriced for a really low spec. I ended up returning and built a PC with 30% faster processor, 2x sized SSD that was also significantly faster, Same graphics card but 12gb instead of 8gb VRAM, and better pretty much everything. I also saved 500 dollars. NOTE: I bought this on a whim and it was one of the few in stock at store. Upon further reasearch there were much better PCs from best buy for cheaper if I was patient and ordered one to be shipped to store. Be careful when shopping for PCs. Get a really knowledgeable friend to help you decide if you are not fully aware!

Love the computer. Only issue is that when it goes to sleep the tower looks like a light house with light on front flashing very brightly. Not able to disable light, have to turn machine off every night.

Great computer, sure. It looks good. Heres the problem, THE COOLING SYSTEM IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. The idle temperature of this computer is about 90 degrees. Thats absurd. Thats the danger temp, and it starts up at that temperature?? If you want to own this computer with no problems for more than a year or two you have to get nee fans. And theres not enough room in the case, nor is there anywhere to put it up without a ghetto ziptie setup. Avoid this computer if you dont want to immediately drop anothwr 100-200 in life sustaining upgrades

It was good at first and good deal bc it was $800 but it’s only been a year and it keeps crashing and right now it won’t even connect to my monitor even after I tried different cables too because I thought that was the issue

Really disappointing HP... I have owned this desktop for 3 weeks now and all I use it for is transferring files from my external ssd (Samsung t7 ssd) to the computer. Most files can range from 2gb to 40gb. I use my phone as a dashcam so files can get a little large at times. I have had the omen freeze on me almost a dozen times already, and we're not talking about for 1 or 2 minutes. It freezes to the point where I have to force shutdown. The cntrl/alt/delete command wont initiate. My previous computer was built back in 2011, using a fx6100 with 8gb of ram. It managed to do what I want to use it for, and seriously, I don't even remember the last time I had to force reboot. I was really wanted the hdr and 4k resolution for all the movies I watch, so hoping to get my money's worth for this computer, but looks like is going back to BB tomorrow! ($799 at the time of purchase)

Usb ports crash consistently! Returned it only to have the second one do the same. Saw a bunch of forums online of people also having the same problem. Do not buy this PC.

The pc is decent as a budget but it keeps freezing and whenever i play a game.

Purchased jul. Of 2023. Logged in June 2024 to check my warranty (3 years) because today it stopped working and doesn’t want to turn on. Not taxing, running into the ground etc., staying cool and clean, Just moderate use like some gaming and checking emails and google. Bummer! Prior I had small issues with sound not being loud etc but was most likely due to drivers. This is my second HP Omen in 2 years brand new turn faulty. Just worried now that I can’t wipe or turn it on what’s going to happen with all my info?!! I’ll see how Best Buy handles it because last return through HP was a pain!!! Gonna switch from Omen line.
