I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my partner. The moment he took it out the box, it has been a disaster. Once everything was set up and running, the desktop started freezing, which required a hard shut down. This would happen constantly. After the 3rd day we decided to return it.

Got an open box one while on discount. Great value for that price. At that price point, I'd have to spend more if I buy the parts myself. Pro: 1, Great value. 2, I personally like its look. 3, Has wi-fi and Bluetooth already. 4, Easy to access interior. Adjustments need to be made after getting the product: 1, There is a panel that blocks airflow at the top of the case inside. that panel can be removed to improve airflow. It also serves as a mounting point of a 120mm fan. You can search for tutorials on YouTube. 2, GPU overheats underload. It stays at unhealthy 80C. You need to use MSI afterburner and adjust fan curve to make it cooler. 3, There is a GPU support structure that is partially blocking GPU fan exhaust. It does not actually support the GPU so can be removed. I haven't done that yet. Not sure what temperature improvement it can make. 4, RAM runs at 4400MT/s (that's a strange number). Can be "overclocked" to 5200MT/s in Omen gaming hub. Con: 1, After all the aforementioned adjustments are made, overheating is probably not an issue. But it comes with higher noise level. This is the drawback comes with a slim case that has glass(maybe?) side panel. 2, 500W power supply is not ideal for future upgrades. On 12V rail it has total 40A output so at least it's a solid 500W PSU I guess? But considering the current GPU market, There is hardly any viable options you can upgrade to from RTX3060. And I think the GPU market will be like that for at least a year. 3, Second M.2 SSD slot is behind GPU. Mounting an extra SSD requires GPU to be unmounted first. 4, Single fan RTX3060 might create more noise to stay cool compared to dual fan ones. 5, RAM: I wish it comes with single 16G stick. 6, OMEN gaming hub, contains too much useless stuff. Why it has so much "promotional" garbage? Now it's so slow to start! We just need a simple control hub.

Decent pc. I was able to swap out the case and looks really good now. The only issue is the MOBO has no real F panel besides a power. Also has no usb c connection. So a case with usb C and a Rgb logo will not work. Sadly although the MOBO is LGA1700 it only takes 13th gen i3 i5 and i7. I had a spare 12 gen i7 and it would not work. Not really sure why. I would suggest getting a new power supply if you plan on switching the GPU although I think it’s an okay GPU and CPU and if you don’t plan on switching parts for a while then you should be okay. As far as cooling on the stock case it’s fine. A little small and constricting of airflow but after switching cases and adding fans it’s fine. You can also add some extra fans on top and one at the bottom for extra cooling. Overall I think it’s okay. For the price I think you can find better but I got on sale for around 900 so if you can get it for that it’s a good deal.

This is my first Gaming PC that I have purchased. Always have had a laptop. I got this on sale, and it was a steal. Comes with a keyboard and mouse for those who are looking for a whole setup. The storage is great, graphics are amazing, and it runs as smooth as butter! I will be using this PC for casual gaming and some light video editing - this PC does more than I need it too, and I’m going to have it around for a long time! The specs could handle heavier gaming and video editing if I needed it too. Also, very cool to look at when on. I have a desk set up with my pc on the ground - but I still get to see the changes of color from the corner of my eye. A little too bright for me to have it on my desk. I’ll be buying a L shaped desk to show off this bad boy and when that comes in the PC will be on the desk. Runs quiet too! Overall, very happy with this purchase. :)

Where do I start with this thing? 1 - the rtx 3060 on an i5 system has a minimum Power Requirement of 550 Watts.. this system comes with a VERY cheaply made 500 Watt PSU. So right from the jump.. your system isnt getting enough juice to run efficently. 2 - Despite updated BIOS and settings, ANY attempts to use an XMP Profile on DDR5 6000 causes memory errors and refuses to boot the system. The Included "Omen Boost" software? It "Overclocks" the RAM to 2400Mhz.. just super huge boost for a 6000mhz stock speed RAM... /eyeroll 3 - There is ONE .. yes, ONE Intake Fan for cool air, and ONE exhaust fan. There is no other mounting points for fans. Yes, you read that correctly. You CANNOT mount additional fans (this includes a water cooler) ANYWHERE in the case. They decided that a Hard Drive cage needed riveting on the front of the case, making it unable to be removed, and no mounting points required. The TOP of the case has a GIANT STEEL PLATE screwed onto it, blocking 75% of all air flow in/out of the system. Now thankfully, THAT can be removed.. but you cant mount anything in its place, due to the position of the screws, and the design of the case. 4 - Cable Management is an ABSOLUTE nightmare. There is literally NO room on the backside of the case to mount anything bigger than a toothpick in thickness. No, Im not kidding. It took me, my son, and a screwdriver just to OPEN the rear panel due to EXTREMELY poor design. The ONLY place to store excess cables (for when we IMMEDIATELY replaced that god awful Power Supply.) ... is directly in front of the ONLY intake fan in the entire case.. which is mounted on the front of the case, at the very BOTTOM of the front panel. 5 - Only about HALF of the CPU was actually coated in thermal paste.. thankfully I always check this on any used/pre-built system I Purchase. Your mileage may vary here, but hopefully you're smart enough to check this yourself. In closing, I could have built FAR better for FAR cheaper than this thing comes stock. The thermals on this are MUCH better once you remove all the idiotic "extras" they include. Yes, that stupid GPU bracket/support on the 3060 is blocking air from the intake fan, you do NOT need it, get rid of it! Why its even there boggles my brain.. its a 3060, not a 4090.) My best suggestion is to take the parts and put them in a PROPER Mid-Tower.. with actual cooling options. However, I did not test this option, but depending on the thermals on long term gaming sessions, long term heat WILL degrade the performance quickly.

If you're looking at this for the Black Friday sale, it's a decent value, particularly if you can grab a good open box deal. However, there's a few things to note here: -If you buy this item, do the following: Unscrew the plate blocking airflow in the top of the case (2 screws). Unscrew the mount holding the GPU in (it's just for shipping, not to secure the thing. 2 screws). Take both out to free up airflow. -Reinstall Windows from an ISO so that you can get rid of the VAST amount of bloatware this comes with -Install MSI Afterburner (or something similar) and set the fan curve so that it hits 100% by the time this thing hits around 65 degrees celcius for the GPU. If not, it will 100% overheat because the default fan curve is pitiful. Other notes: -The thermals in this case aren't brilliant. They're better than online reviews would lead you to believe because they added a better CPU cooler than previous 25L iterations. But the case itself isn't great for airflow. -The power supply is coolermaster brand and reliable. I haven't had issues even with cranking the GPU. But you will 100% need a better PSU if you want to upgrade anything. -There's only 1 sata cable in this case. -When I bought mine open box, it had corrupted memory. In an elevated (right click, then "run as administrator) terminal, running the following may fix other similar issues: @echo on fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\&fsutil usn deletejournal /d /n c:&Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup&sfc /scannow&Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:wim:E:\sources\install.esd:1&sfc /scannow&Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase&pause -At least for me, it shipped in a VERY OBVIOUS box which had "Omen Computer" plastered all over it. They did do signature service, but make sure you're careful with shipping since if this sits somewhere, it'll likely get stolen with that obvious "expensive computer inside!" label on it. Over all, if I'd bought the parts and assembled manually, this would've been a much more expensive cpu. Good bang for the buck if you're willing to jump through a few minor hoops.

But I wish I would have got this item instead. I am mad and upset that I can't get it. And I understand that somebody plays that order before me. I understand that I just more step. There was a little bit more. Kind of it's kind of hard when there's only one device and at I'm sure there's a lot of people who did that. But thanks so much. I would love to have that item, but it is what it is. Thank you. You guys are great and amazing at Best Buy

I love this gaming computer! Easy setup and performs great for gaming and any other task. In the past, I’ve built and maintained my own PC just to have something that performs this well. For the price to quality, it is definitely “value added” for my life. Having said that, if your looking for an affordable gaming PC, you can’t go wrong.

Used this tower for over a year now and have been extremely happy with the performance and reliability of the machine. It's also pretty nice to look at and runs very quiet most of the time. When I dial up the graphics settings it can start humming a bit but it's not too loud. Would definitly buy this one again.

I have been wanting to build a PC for so long, but i havent really had the funds for that. So, i set my sights onto a prebuilt PC as my first PC, and then later I will build my own. The Omen 25L is a very good starter PC for the games I enjoy to play. The buggest issue is that the tower for this PC is a mid sized tower so its hard to keep the GPU cool. But thats not a huge problem since even on medium settings, my games look leagues better above their console counterparts, especially older titles.

The computer is excellent. Very fast and handles several games at 4k/60 thanks to some DLSS magic. The sale price of $799 seemed very fair for a current i5 and a rtx 3060. This PC would handle 1080p natively with no issues. The case and lighting are aesthetically pleasing. I only wish I had access to a usb type C towards the front of the tower but that’s really my only complaint. I had my own mouse and keyboard so I cannot speak to the bundle included with the tower but they seem to match with the same white finish as the tower itself. All in all I think this is the happiest I’ve been with a pre-built PC purchase. Nicely done, HP. Nicely done.
