Lots of power for the money

No problems to date, everything functions flawlessly. It could benefit from a RAM upgrade to 32gb but it’s only noticeable when running the design programs. Ditch the keyboard and mouse that it comes with. We upgraded to these components to Alienware accessories and haven’t looked back.

The Big Shiny Computer of Fun!

Very nice processing power and the LEDs are very fun. Case parts are mostly modular and makes swapping parts pretty easy. Also very quiet fans and that's just on the normal mode much the the actual quiet setting.

On setup my CPU temperatures were pushing up against dangerous just sitting idle. The quality of the fans are poor, and after opening up the case it turns out the heatsink sits several millimeters above the cpu and did not have proper thermal paste application and the cpu had absolutely none. If you plan on buying this pc make sure to budget for a replacement cooling fan and heatsink. After reading dozens of hp forum posts my experience is far from unusual. Whoever handled quality control on these machines should be mortified.
