Great PC at an amazing price! Perfect for a mid level gamer

I've had issues with this PC from the start, issues I initially perceived as negligible but persisted throughout a week of usage. This system handled games well enough, unfortunately stutters would occur nearly every minute, sometimes multiple times in quick-succession and I simply could not ignore for the long-term. These would happen universally, in low/high resource intense games and on the desktop (noticing my mouse cursor jump every now and then.) All drivers were up to date, no cable issues, nothing I was able to boil it down to other than that something with the hardware itself was faulty. So I exchanged this PC for an exact replacement, only to also be met with problems out of the gate. Sure enough, I had the same exact issue that prompted my exchange in the first place. Doing clean re-installs of the OS unfortunately did not help matters as these systems are somewhat dependent on you having their manufacturers bloat installed so I ran into other small weird issues with that. Some smaller nitpicks I had software wise; Omen gaming hub isn't great. I found it to be a bit slower than I'd like it to be. Initially whenever I began launching games it asked me in the bottom right corner to turn on "boost mode" which, whenever this happened, my input totally locked up and had to force quit the game via task manager. Annoying, but solvable fix early on within the app so whatever. Case lighting is something I also found to be slightly spotty, sometimes not loading config before fixing itself after a while... but the lighting on the ram sticks would never save, which by default are set to be at max-brightness rapidly flashing rainbow colors so I had to check and uncheck that on every reboot. Also had totally random occasional on-screen prompt of HP apps requesting admin privileged to my changes to my PC which is... something? I think it's also worth noting that these PC's are notoriously buggy with sleep mode. Which, looking into it, seems to be widespread problem on all of these models. Personally I've had instances where manually setting it to sleep did nothing, and other times it slept on it's own and wouldn't respond to my input causing me to restart. All in all... I'm less than satisfied for the price I paid for lol. Even if you are still considering getting an OMEN never purchase these unless they are on-sale. THAT'S the real price. I'm not sure why these are always priced so absurdly high otherwise. The quality doesn't make up for it.

Works great, no issues except buzzing noise whenever I use my audio interface buts that more of a grounding issue I’m working out. Runs most games and ableton just fine. Best Buy credit card and reward points make it really worth it.

Good value, I didn't want to build my own again for the kid so this was a great option. I'm not sold on all the lighting effects inside, especially since it's in a desk, but it's a solid machine with room to grow.

great parts can run most games smoothly just need to upgrade ram to run more demanding games

Best computer I've owned, I had an asus tuf fx505 I was using and this was a huge upgrade. I got it on a sale so it was a great value. The case also has plenty of room so if you were to ever upgrade in the future it can be done, it has 4 ddr5 ram slots as well.

Owned for a couple of weeks. Would have given five stars if I didn't start getting BSOD after turning on memory overclocking feature via Omen Gaming Hub. Figured it out by running memory diagnostic and then tried turning o/c off before contacting customer support. All seems well now. Runs Cyberpunk 2077 decently at 1440p RT Low with DLSS and Frame Generation on.

This is the 2nd gaming computer that I just had to purchase...the first one had a processor malfunction and they were sold out of them and could not replace it. This one seems to run faster and setup was easier. So far, everything has been great. My son is a novice gamer, so this computer works well for him

Really nice computer only thing I had to do was upgrade the ram but other than that no problems and runs new games on high with ease

Runs Battlefield, Fortnite, Apex, & COD all over 100FPS. Battlefield was running mainly at 189. Fan is not loud at all, can customize lights (saw some comments about this) in the Omen Launcher that comes downloaded on it. This was worth the money

This PC is pretty excellent. I can game at 1440p in extremely high frame rates or ultra high quality or even both in some games. Its also excellent for productivity as someone who works from home.

Beast of a machine! Fast, quiet, and built like a tank. Handles everything I throw at it — from gaming to video editing. Couldn’t be happier!

One year down with this build and I have not found a problem with it so far, first upgrade is going to be my ram.

The pc was working great for a year, then it stopped posting, I had a two-year warranty so I wasn't worried and brought it in for them to fix, it took them 3 weeks to replace a graphics card (if I had the part it would take a few hours), then during transit the broke the front glass panel, side glass panel, and top panel, they then sent it back out to have it fixed again, took them from July 30th till August 15th for them just to say it would cost more than its worth to fix and they will be giving me store credit to buy something else, this has ruined my thoughts of best buy being a good company and i will now be building my own pc with parts from microcenter. Total time it took for them to say they are gonna give me store credit was 1 month a week and one day.

My boyfriend really likes it and his brother fawns over it. As long as it's good enough to play the games he wants to play then it should be ok to be honest. He plays arc for reference.

Fantastic. Excellent quality fir the price. Im playing games at maximum graphics quality at 60 fps

More than pleased with this purchase. I upgraded the ram, but for casual users the standard is probably just fine.
